Super 8 by Wyndham Altoona

The staff was lovely and welcoming!! My husband is introverted but even they got a good laugh out of him. They kept up with my energy, which was so nice. The swimming pool was indoors which was GREAT because I have lupus. The breakfast options were nice and filling. The room service staff were lovely as well, held great conversation.

There were some areas that were sticky (?) But that was 99% left by the past guest and it was on a handle. I understand how hard it is to check and clean every single nook and cranny, especially when you're overworked. A quick wipe down with a sanitizer wipe did the trick just fine.

Every stay we are pleased. It’s very quiet yet family friendly. The staff are always so nice and helpful even when I made a special request. Housekeeping does a fantastic job and always willing to help. This is our go-to place every time we stay in Altoona now

Clean and beautiful. The view outside our window allowed us to watch the fireworks above the trees

We had a very nice day and will stay there in the future the rooms were clean, and people were very friendly

Could’ve used a little bit more variety on that continental breakfast. We stayed there for days and it would’ve been nice to either have let’s kiss and gravy or something different.

Everything was just about perfect here. While it was the smallest motel room we've ever stayed in, we were comfortable and it met all our needs. The lighting was excellent, the room was clean and each side of the bed had a bedside table. The receptionist open the breakfast room so that we could get hot coffee and hot tea as we were freezing when we arrived.

There was no freezer, just a refrigerator unit.

The location was great, right down the street from Adventureland! Bed was pretty comfortable.

The pool was freezing. The hot water took a really long time to warm up if at all even. The could use a little more attention to detail when cleaning, we found a used adult toy in our room beside the side table. Also I didn’t realize there was a 20 dollar hold that goes on your card when you check in you do get it back after you check out but that was an extra 80 dollars I wasn’t expecting to spend( I reserved 4 rooms).

ive stayed here before and the sstaff have always been friendly and the rooms have been clean. the breakfast was ok but could have been better or at least a little more variety

Wish they had a little bit cheaper rate because I always work for Amazon and I am traveling to work. I love the first floor and the 3 floor room was not that clean like my last stay

An older motel, but clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was great, beds comfortable with top notch bed sheets.

Concern about falling in the shower because the bottom of the tub was slippery. Difficult to move without sliding.

The room was great. When we arrived, the toilet was full, maybe clogged. I advised the front desk. She said she would take care of it. (I asked not to switch rooms) when we got back, everything was good! I wanted to go swimming, but we arrived back so late the pool was going to close in 15 minutes. She was so wonderful, she let us stay in there longer. She made our anniversary a little bit better!

They only have to go bags for breakfast.

The location to where we needed to be was easy to get to and from the hotel. The lobby was cozy, loved the fireplace. Staff were polite and willing to help.

I had reserved 3 rooms and we had a problem with one room. The door would not lock didn't have to use key card to get in. I reported it to the front desk and he was able to switch it.
