Peaceful and quiet ( I been going to xtreme stress so that peacefulness help alot) Until the roof reparation team began to make lots of noises ,but I put some sooting music after the ambulance came to make sure my heart was OK ( I got anxiety attack right after they start working but it really was a combination of a bad news in my errants that day and the sudden loud banging on my side of the room.. ) but I am ok ,please don't worry .. I love the hotel and the staff ..

It's personal privacy ( but was taken care )

It was one of those moments of opportunity with weather approaching. Got a quick booking at a good value. The room was excellent, and the staff and facilities matched. We had been on a long trip and had stayed in several other properties but this Comfort Inn in Story City was the emerald of our trip. Breakfast was the best of all the places we had stayed on a trip that covered over 3500 miles. As we usually travel US 35 from Texas to Minnesota, this will be a place we will look for on our next trip. Thank you to the staff for making our stay exceptional.

There was nothing I did not like at this property.

The hotels in Ames were overly priced and mostly all booked due to ISU graduations. We were so lucky to find this hotel in Story City. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and polite! The location and room were good as well, no complaints there.

The only thing if we had to chose something that was a negative was that our room wasn't ready at check-in. We sat around and checked in about one hour later. BUT we believe the woman who checked us in had a wonderful attitude and was so friendly, she's the reason we didn't let it bother us. Overall, it was a good stay!

a lot to choice from for breakfast. wasn't very hot food. I liked to comfortable bed and couch was nice to sit on.

Animal hair on the couch and in bathroom sink. didn't like the hard butter for my toast

Very clean and the breakfast was great! Both beds seemed broken and if you sat on a corner, the other side would come up. Still a comfortable stay overall . Great Mexican restaurant nearby too!

The bed frame seemed broken and mattress would come up on you if you sat on a corner at all.

Liked lemon water in lobby. Liked paper/pen in room. Good tv stations. Friendly staff.

Room was not cleaned on 3rd day.

Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We were greeted by a cheerful, helpful and friendly staff member which raised our expectations for our stay and we were NOT disappointed.

Since “social distancing” has been the norm for over a year, the crowded breakfast room was uncomfortable to us so we chose to take our choices up to our room.

The hot breakfast was very good! We enjoyed the variety of food.

In our room there was No towel bars to hang towels and washcloths.

Clean, comfortable & had everything I needed. Friendly staff and good breakfast. I’m very picky and will def stay there again.

Staff was friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast tasted good. Bacon,eggs, sausage were well done. They also had a variety of cold cereal, waffle, yogurt. Something for everyone. They are also pet friendly.
