Best Western Louisville South - Shepherdsville

When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly young lady who quickly had us checked in. She was quick to give directions to the hotel and our room and inform us of the hours for breakfast. The lobby, the elevator, the hallway, and the room was exceptionally clean.

The only thing that I didn't care for was the breakfast. When we made it down for breakfast there was very little hot food available and there was still over an hour left.

This and super clean the staff was wonderful. Our room was larger than expected and very clean as our bathroom was as well. I will definitely be staying here again.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was very easy to book, to check in and to check out. Like I said, ALL hotel staff was super friendly. The man that worked the front desk, I believe his name was Chris, was especially helpful, accommodating and friendly. Very well mannered.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and greeted you with a smile! The facility is clean, comfortable and the room was very large and love that we didn't feel cramped. Will stay here again on our next trip here to visit family.

The only thing was the pool wasn't available to use, they were waiting on an inspection in the morning before it could be used.

Loved the outdoor pool. Close walking distances to restaurant and fast food.

Being an older adult I felt the tub was very low and so was the toilet. I felt like I was setting on the floor to use the bathroom. Recommend walk in showers with your King rooms. Breakfast wasn’t as great as the guy at the desk made it sound.

People always make the experience and Chris was wonderful and helpful in every way. We had just come from a motel in the Chicago area and the BW was much cleaner than our previous stay (NOT in a BW). Thanks to Chris and the staff in Louisville!

The Breakfast area was obviously being redone. That didn't stop us from enjoying the breakfasts, and we're sure the remodeling will be very nice for future guests.

This was a good hotel to stay overnight before heading to the airport. Staff was friendly and communicative. We had an issue with the fire alarm beeping in our first room and was immediately moved to another room with a non-faulty alarm. Breakfast was simple but was good enough before catching a flight in the morning.

The beds were clean and comfy but the carpet felt dusty.

The staff is great. The hotel is nice. very comfortable!

The elevator is a little less smooth than you’d think. At first I went to the Best Western ~ Shepherdsville. This one is a different one. Louisville South IN Shepherdsville. Just a small distinction and a short trip down the road. 😂

Loved the guy at the front desk he was very helpful. And the fact we asked for a late check out, and it was no trouble.

At breakfast, I asked for a knife to cut an apple and was directed to the plastic knives and spoons. Could have been a little more friendly.

Everything was wonderful. Had a little hiccup check in but the lady at the front desk was very professional as she could be. The room was great. The bed was so very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect after a long day of travel. The breakfast was pre-COVID amazing! I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to say with y'all.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Location to Churchchill Downs was great

Hot breakfast items could be much better, I’m not blaming the staff’s effort, I am blaming corporate decisions. We stayed at a best western in Mauston Wisconsin, and their breakfast was excellent. There should be some kind of uniformity for the name Best Western
