Baton Rouge Marriott

Everything was really GREAT, COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, and very RELAXING, the staff was beyond FRIENDLY really AWESOME, ACCOMMODATING, and welcoming, and helped me with anything that I needed help with if any.

my only ISSUE is it can get a bit pricey and EXPENSIVE as far as how much the rooms are. I can understand expensive but just a little bit less expensive would be better and reasonable. Also, I REALLY DIDNT like the fact that the rooms at the Marriott hotel DOES NOT offer SEPARATE LIVING ROOM AREAS of any kind, as far as it being separate from the bedroom I mean. It would be great if they offered that.

Clean and spacious

I didn't like that you could see right thru those big windows in the rooms .. they really need to tent these windows it would keep it a lot cooler we had the ac on 67 and it was barley keeping up. Also on the south side of the building if this where my hotel I would keep up with that on look of the roof top view do some painting or some kind of Local art stuff.. and I would absolutely try to find a solution for better parking ...

Starting with you lovely young lady who works most nights with the amazing braids, she wears glasses, I did not catch her name, but what a wonderful asset to the Marriott. Everything was awesome! Loved the pool, comfy bed, shower was to die for!

We didn't eat breakfast but the bar atmosphere was very relaxing. They had lots of sitting areas for you to unwind after a long trip. The pool was open and clean. The views from the rooms were awesome. We were able to check in early and that was very accommodating!!

Right now the only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer.

clean, comfortable, cozy, nice decor, nice and friendly staff. bathroom personal items smell so fresh! and super clean. Other than that, I would stay again and I would recommend it.

Value, & Parking: I am rating low on these aspects because while there was parking available, there was no security for your car. So, as it happened to some of our friends someone stole part of the cars while staying at the hotel. Value: for what they charged you per night it would be nice for them to include breakfast and also the last night there was so many people running and yelling in the hallway (7th Floor) Room 705, has a view to the freeway and to an ugly roof from a building next to it. :(

I don't know where the free breakfast went but I wish it would return. However Charles was my waiter and bartender and he made paying worth while. His warm smile and genuine conversation is something to model your staff by. Everyone was exceptional but Charles is the star of your staff and should be commended!!!

I liked the location being within walking distance to a couple of fine restaurants and some other affordable ones, and it being easily accessible to the interstate and very close to the LSU campus. Bar and restaurant are friendly and a good social meeting place. Nice decor. Good fitness center and pool. Free streaming Showtime, HBO, Netflix etc.

Heating didn’t work that well at times during a cold front. Some of the plug ins foe USB and electric charging did not work. I had some trouble with the WiFi on the second day of my stay onward (though that could have been from a faulty password I entered). Restaurant did not serve lunch. No microwave in the rooms

updated, nicely decorated, clean, shampoo on site, and quiet.

beds were hard, pillows too small, linens wouldn’t stay on the bed, no privacy regarding bathroom door, and bed side outlets didn’t work properly. property could us better parking lot lightning.

I loved the room everything was very clean. The staff was very nice and the food was great.

There were several softball teams staying there with children who were unsupervised but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

When I first walked into the hotel I noticed how aesthetically pleasing it was. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is close to many different restaurants and also a movie theater .
