Sleep Inn Geismar - Gonzales

The shower was HOT. And I had the best showers. Hot water is very important to me. Makes me relaxed and happy. So I was happy. The room was clean and comfortable. I would easily stay there again!

the iron was making brown stains on my husbands shirt and the ironing board had a piece of metal that actually tore a hole in his new shirt. So we had to request a new iron and board and he had to use his backup shirt. And the new shirt is ruined. That is the only complaint I had. To my husband it was a very big complaint!

We enjoyed our stay right off the interstate, quiet area, cleanliness on point, room service came every morning, I don't know about breakfast because we woke up late every morning because we stayed out and came back in late. Overall we had a great stay and we will definitely go back

The water pressure

My family and I stayed 2 nights .Location was great. Plenty of parking spaces and lights at night. Breakfast was awesome. Staff and others staying at the hotel were very friendly and attentive. Hotel was very clean. Room smelled good when you walked through the door ,beds were very comfortable and I absolutely loved the the water was hot when I bathed. Most hotels water are like warm. My family and I will definitely stay again

The water pressure was terrible and I didn't like the fact that the staff smoked right outside the front sliding glass door. As soon as you exit you are hit with cigarette smoke. Not cool!

I did like that the room was clean, the rooms facing away from the highway were quiet and there was a wonderful hot breakfast available which is so unusual during COV ID times. The price was also good. I would have given the hotel a 10 except for the receptionist. All aspects of the hotel are a 10 if you do not have The wrong person checking you in.

The front desk person, Ana was her name I think.... was rude and unhelpful. I merely asked for a room facing away from the highway on a top floor. It was as though I was asking her to move a mountain. She said a room would be available in 2 hours meeting that criteria. Just then, another staff member who was the housekeeping manager came by and I told her I was interested in a top floor room facing away from the highway and she said sure there is one available and I was checked in within minutes. Not 2 hours. The receptionist just stood there with a frown on her face and would have let me sit there for 2 hours. What is her problem. She should not be in a service position that's for sure.

very clean and quiet

I paid way too much for this room because I booked the morning of my stay. I could have saved $50 by booking after 4:00. Of course, it did guarantee us a room on a Saturday night. Also, housekeeping will be knocking on your door at 9:00a.m. even if you are checking out that morning.

The breakfast was fantastic with everything fresh and a variety beyond our expectations based on other hotels we had stayed at this trip.

The parking lot was a bit strange to manuever, and there was a lady urinating buck naked by the backside of the hotel where the receptionist had suggested parking after I had inquired the best place to access our room as we had 2 small children and a wagon/suitcase in tow.

i liked the location, the cleanliness, and the staff. breakfast was good and at the time i stayed there were not many people and it wasn’t over crowded. it is also right next to a gas station which made it a very convenient spot.

THEY DID NOT HAVE A POOL !! other than the lack of pool the hotel was pretty much perfect. a tad bit small but very enjoyable with nice clean facilities and rooms

The hotel offered a large variety of food items. The cooks were very nice and helpful in helping us bring food to the table.

Everything was very nice. I have no complaints.

The location was perfect. The staff was courteous and the hotel was quiet.

The kitchenette’s refrigerator and cabinets were not super clean. They had crumbs left in them. The breakfast for a Sunday morning was very disappointing.
