Best Western Natchitoches Inn

The property has great effort made to upgrade their rooms. Their were a few minor things that could be corrected but I was impressed by the comfort level of the room. The staff was very friendly and Breakfast was very good. I love their pancake machine! i definitely would recommend staying here.

I made a last second booking, so I can’t say the price was bad but I payed more than the nicer hotel next door because they had the only vacancy out of 6 hotels. Corrections to make: 1. complimentary toiletries included many cool items but no shampoo or conditioner. I think the cleaning service may have put 3 lotions in my room by mistake. 2. The elevator was out of service and the stairs were steeper than average stairs. 3. One of the bed frames had two large metal furniture connectors that jutted out 4-5 inches from under the mattress in the wall walkway between the beds. It made me think there was some other bed frame connected to this one in the past. Unfortunately, I discovered them after I hit my shin on one of them when getting up from the bed.

Upon check-in late evening, I was greeted by name by the friendliness, courteous, young lady who introduced us to the property amenities. Her professionalism and smile everytime you entered the lobby made a great stay.

The only thing I did not like was not receiving my receipt for stay. Upon check-out, I told the Front Desk Clerk I did not receive my receipt under my door and ask for a receipt. She told me I would receive an email of my receipt which I have not received.

the lady that checked us in was very nice. I liked her. But the lady that checked us out had no personality at all. I asked for a copy of my receipt for the bill she wouldn’t give me one because she said I booked the night through Booking.com. And refused to give me one. Yet all the other hotels didn’t have a problem doing that for me.

door knob in bathroom was about to fall off. my husband tightened the screw back up. Shower head was pulling out of the wall. Caulk was pulling away from the cabinet under the mirror. Black mold or heavy dust on top of cornice board over window. It all looks fine but it really isn’t clean.

Breakfast was yummy as always, location was great. I like that it’s off the freeway

The beds were a little small! They are bigger than full but smaller than queen. Might not be great for 2 people in 1 bed, unless it’s a small child. But that didn’t take away from my overall experience.

The staff was very nice, helpful and professional. This is my first time at a BW and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was also nice and I was able to get breakfast very quickly.

The only downside was the broken exterior locks and doors in parts of the building. I would prefer if I could use all doors. Otherwise, I had an excellent visit and am excited to come back next year!!!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very nice. The staff was exceptional especially Shirley who checked us in, very friendly, called the room a few minutes after we arrived to see how everything was. We were bringing my freshman granddaughter to college there so we will be making many trips there and would be happy to book the best western again.

The parking lot could get a bit crowded if there had been more guests at the property. It didn’t seem like parking spaces were clearly defined.

This hotel was very quiet and exactly what I thought it would be. The room was clean and everyone I encountered was nice.

I booked for three days. On the second day I arrived to my room and could not access with my room key. I had to go down to the desk to have my Keys re-keyed because they only keyed the room for two days. Minor inconvenience but could have been avoided.

The location

Our toilet was broken, we reported it and it didn’t seem like and issue to them. So we had to close the bathroom door so we didn’t have to hear it continuing to run.

Great breakfast. Loved that the coffee station was open all day! Also loved the market next door!

Our only complaint was the size of the sink. It was not good for washing faces! Next time we will see if there is a room with a larger sink in this hotel.
