They hotel and rooms were beautiful - so much character and charm. Very comfortable beds. The staff were courteous and helpful. Loved the location and how walkable it was to other parts of the area.

The only down side we had was being placed by a family with a young child that hollered almost until midnight and then began again in the early morning. I would not want to deny families the opportunity to stay at your hotel but if you have the room capacity place young families with children away from other guests. We shared a wall with this family but I am sure those across they hall were also impacted by the noise.

Room was clean, quiet, overlooked the courtyard. Location is excellent- one block to Front Street and riverbank with multiple restaurants, shops, bars - lots of options. It was super convenient for St. Pat day pub crawl and I just recommended it to a friend attending jazz fest in May. We stayed three nights and breakfast buffet was 7-10am daily- scrambled eggs, grits, pork and turkey sausages, bagels, sliced bread/toaster, juices, coffee, yogurt.

Minor aspects but we did get a little frustrated that ice makers on multiple floors were often empty. Our room, while certainly clean, appeared a bit overdue for recaulking of shower base.

It was extremely hot in all of the ice machines were out or did not work

We booked a king suite and it was nice having a dedicated table and chairs for the breakfast we brought. The location was great. Having the separate door for my husband (who snores) was a huge advantage for us since me and the kids slept on the pull out couch and roll away bed.

There was no soap, paper towels, or hand towels for the kitchen sink. There was a plumbing leak beneath the kitchen sink and the wood was warped and moldy. We have four people, but only three towels. The couch bed and roll away bed were uncomfortable.

A well appointed quiet room without an appealing view, but by location was very acceptable. Free on-site parking, however we got the last open spot.Onsite good breakfast with staffed service.

Much of the breakfast staff seemed grumpy! Perhaps it is from guests not bothering to tip, or tip well!?! Despite the fact it is a breakfast of a small buffet served in a formal dining room, most guests appeared to think of it as a routine breakfast bar like in many hotel lobbies.

Close to the river front within walking distance to riverfront, restaurants/bars and shops !

i initially booked 2 rooms, last minute family emergency for one in our party required cancelling one room, mgmt refused to refund that room although while I was checking in there were guest that came in a got rooms that did not have previous reservations so I’m very confident that they did not lose out on that room but probably got double $. This was not our first time to stay here but may be the last. Another person in our group outside of my reservation actually stayed 2 nights and originally booked one night. I reached out to the property online and have not received a response two months later.

Hotel was much nicer than expected, the rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The staff were friendly. Location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the river and old town centre, restaurants etc. Plenty of parking and very close to NSU.

Unfortunately the heating unit in the room was extremely noisy, everytime it kicked in it was like a freight train and woke us up all night. Breakfast was pretty ordinary.

The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was second to none. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable. The style of the hotel was beautiful and the location was amazing. And the value for money was so good! We cannot get this quality of hotel where we are from for this price!

My husband had a slightly less than hot shower! But honestly I think he just complained too much. 😂

Location was great being only a block off of Front Street. Lady at the checkout was very friendly. Hotel was very clean. I will be staying with them again. Great price.

Mattress was sagging in the middle. We got a room with two queens and one mattress was good the other wasn't. Shower water pressure was lacking. Breakfast was ok, but only scrambled eggs, toast and sausage were left by 9.
