Church Street Inn

We discovered this hotel on a previous trip, but were unable to stay as they were booked. However, on this most recent adventure of ours, to Louisiana to explore cities, and then return to Texas by way of Natchitoches. I was able to book a room for the night. The personnel are lovely. The room is wonderful and everything is pretty much perfect for a night stay. I had no problem parking on the street for the night but there is an option for gated parking for a very reasonable fee. Very well pleased. I will stay here again. There is one caveat emptor. I felt that the air conditioner in my room was noisy, but I had ear plugs so it was a non issue. Instalations where so clean social nice smell in the rooms i'll say the instalation, where so cute , is great the utilities , on the rooms , and iron ,the coffee maker , the access to coffee ,drinks on the main lobby and the in the breakfast,was good , everything on, with wonderful a quiet place even, when it was in the main street, the kindnes of the staff on helping us in a late check in on the entrance and the flexibility they offer shows a clear expression on the type service they will be deliver to you thank you so much

easy to find, private and gated parking. Older but classic building, nothing that indicates it’s worn out but instead VERY well maintained. We paid $108 total for a Thurs night. Other locations this would be $200 per night. Very clean. a little issue having used Booking.com, this loc stops reg at 10p, but with a call to the posted phone number, the local owner should up and welcomed us in like family. Room appeared very rich with dark flooring in bedroom, gold plated fixtures in bathroom along with nice white marble looking tile. No mold, no missing caulking (grouted tile actually) nor any plumbing issues. included breakfast is basic but good.

Everything was perfect! The location near the riverwalk, the interior design was fantastic soooo charming. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. It felt like you were visiting a friends house.

The only thing that did not match the rest of this charming hotel was the breakfast room. May be it hasn’t been done yet to match the rest of the hotel. I am not sure. But every little detail and corner of this Inn was so well designed that this room definitely needs to be changed. As well as the breakfast but I guess in the US everywhere breakfast is pretty much the same.

This was our second stay at Church Street in the last 6 months. Love the easy check-in and the location near the river. We like unique places to stay. Our positive experience the first time brought us back this second time.

The only critique would be the breakfast left a little to be desired. The food, while sufficient enough, is only so/so. Such a unique property would be better served with a little better quality of food for breakfast. Personally we would pay a bit more for the upgrade in food.

Room was spacious and clean and the hotel was very nicely maintained. Good to have a basic breakfast included (and free wine available during happy hour!), and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had a virtual job interview one morning during my stay and the Wi-Fi stayed well connected throughout.

I thought parking was already included in the price I'd paid for the room, but it turned out to be an additional $24 on arrival, added to the original $274 for the room. This could be a misunderstanding on my part and it's only a minor gripe, as the parking was secure and convenient and I felt safe leaving my car there.

This is an elegant and comfortable little inn. As an artist and art historian, I really appreciated the art collection displayed throughout the inn. Kudos to the owners for purchasing work from living, breathing artists. Thank you! I will be staying here again and will be recommending Church Street Inn to friends and family.

I would have liked gluten-free bread for breakfast toast. But, I don't expect the world to change for me. The sausag, eggs, and coffee were very good.

Great location with private parking $10/ day. Walk to towmRoom 103 was king with view of courtyard & church. Very friendly & helpful staff. Happy hour wine was nice touch. They are renovating some bathrooms and there's workmen around but not an issue.

Never stayed in boutique hotel, so unsure if this is standard. No staff after 9pm til the housekeeper and the cook arrive around 5am. We are reassured that the doors are locked and can reach the owner anytime if need arises. Need to get room key cards fixed. Only one physical room key.

The location is excellent - within walking distance to shops and great food. The staff are friendly and inviting. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a wine happy hour in the late afternoon. We arrived just in time. It was a very nice touch. There is in room coffee and tea and a mini bar with decent prices. Breakfast was good in the morning. This is an excellent choice while visiting Natchitoches.

Very clean, friendly staff, and great location.

The walls are very thin. So when people are in the halls and they are loud unfortunately it's loud in your room. During our stay their was a group of people that were a little inconsiderate and congregated in the halls and talked. Especially early in the morning. But this was not the hotels fault.
