Ummmm…….not a thing

An absolutely stunning place oozing with southern charm. Extremely spacious and comfortable rooms. Tom, Patricia and Rachel were incredibly welcoming. I massively owe Tom for staying up after storms delayed my flight to the small hours. Homemade baked treats for breakfast each morning and some fabulous dinner recommendations. The location is unparalleled - a stones throw from magazine street and the st Charles streetcar made it close to all the action but far enough away to be peaceful. I sincerely hope I’ll be back again soon.

The staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help us. The Covid precautions were great. Our Room, Dolly, was beautiful and well appointed. Loved the blue fireplace tiles! The Inn is really well situated, several great restaurants are within walking distance, and we felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood at night. It’s essentially a residential neighborhood, and it was fun just to sit on the balcony and admire all of the outdoor art on the houses around us.

This is sort of a catch 22. Because of Covid, we chose to eat breakfast in our room. They delivered breakfast to us each morning in a cute little bag. That limited what they were able to provide for us. While what we did receive was quite tasty, I am sure that the full breakfast at a table in the kitchen would have been much larger.

Location really easy to get into town via the St Charles Streetcar and a very attractive, safe, quiet area with off street parking (and sometimes on the drive). Lots of complimentary drinks available. Staff really lovely and even bought us a teapot when we said it was important to us!

I think we were really hoping for a full breakfast (poached eggs etc) so that we were set up for the day without needing much lunch. Turns out New Orleans don’t allow b&bs to do that though :-( The breakfasts were huge though, and we found plenty to eat in the end, though - like much of New Orleans - there wasn’t a whole lot that was healthy so we felt like we’d started the day with a lot of sugar and carbs!

There were so many things to like about Maison Perrier! The availability and helpfulness of the owner, Tom, were exceptional. Weeks before we arrived, he provided helpful tips on restaurants, car rental, and gave us such a friendly welcome. We visited during Christmas week, and the inn was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We stayed in the Irene suite, which was so spacious and lovely--perfect for me and my 2 adult daughters. It was very private, the only room/suite located on the 3rd (top) floor. We had simple but nice breakfasts prepared each day. You get to choose what you eat from a list of fruit, cereal, mini quiches, pastries, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. There are many thoughtful extras: games, puzzles, books to borrow; cookies and other treats placed in the living room each day; complimentary bottled water and sodas in the bar area. The Garden District neighborhood is very quiet. We easily parked our rental car in front of the Inn each day. Fun to walk around and see the beautiful homes. You can walk to shops and restaurants on Magazine Street.

This lovely bed and breakfast in two conjoined historic rowhouses in the quiet Garden District was a great find. The location is 3 blocks from both the St. Charles streetcar line and Magazine Street where you will find galleries, cafes, and world-class restaurants. The streets are safe even at night and strolling in the area is a lovely way to pass the time. Our trip began with a very warm welcome by Tom (our host with his wife Patricia) despite a late arrival. Tom not only showed us around but also offered some great music and restaurant recommendations that made our first time in New Orleans a great success. The facilities are clean and spacious and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The distance from the central part of the city may be seen as a drawback to some, but it was lovely for us.

I loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the French quarter but still relatively close to all attractions. The garden district is a nice 20 min walk away and it’s right next to Magazine street with lots of cool shops, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood.Street car stop that takes you downtown is a 5 min walk. The B&B was lovely decorated (I stayed here just before Christmas), it has lots of communal area with complimentary drinks and snacks. Tom was so helpful and kind, and really made me feel like I was visiting family rather than a guest at his B&B. Rooms are spotless and comfortable with all amenities.

Loved the owners. Took their time with check in information and tour even though we arrived at 9 pm ish. Absolutely beautiful 19th century home. We stayed in the Lillian room. Bed was amazing and plenty of breakfast items to choose from. There was always homemade treats in the family room to have with your choice of milk. Cow, Almond or Oat. Great AC and boy did we need it!! Summer in NoLo can be brutal! Definitely will stay there again.

The hosts were as excellent as the location. easy walk to the street cart and Magazine St. Great cookies for snacks and water bottles always accessible.

The AC in the room was right above the head of the bed which made it a little uncomfortable. However, our room did have its own AC controller which helped. also the breakfast was not what I was expecting for a B&B; however, it was still great food and the host were always very accommodating.

The house is preserved in an excellent condition and staying here feels like travelling back in time for a few days. Tom & Patricia are superb hosts - every little detail is thought through, from the complimentary drinks and cookies in the lounge to the bathrobes and shower caps in the rooms. They also kindly offered us an upgrade as we were on our honeymoon so we got the balcony room, which is gorgeous. Having the delicious mini quiches while sitting on rocking chairs on the gallery was a real treat! Garden District itself is also a beautiful area, within easy access to the French Quarter (you can take the St Charles Streetcar and make that part of the experience!).
