Location was great, the continental breakfast was excellent and you could take it out to the front patio overlooking the street and relax and enjoy it. As they advertised, the Hotel was directly on the Street Car line, a great way to get around. Please note, the Street Cars only take cash but for $3.00, you received a 24 hour ticket that could be used for any City street car or bus. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. 'Would stay here again and would send friends and family if they were going to New Orleans.

We enjoyed the light breakfast and conversation with some other visitors (from Pennsylvania) before we were on our way. Thanks for the excellent Community coffee!!

The next morning, for some reason the elevator was broken. These things happen... did not spoil our stay at all. They were on it right away.

We loved everything about our stay at St. Charles Inn. We found it to be centrally located to everything we wanted to do for our brief stay in New Orleans and were easily able to travel via tram and foot while we were there. The hotel room was perfect. Since this was a stopover on our cross country move we had our dog with us, which often leads to being assigned less desirable rooms. That was not the case at all here. The room felt clean and cozy with wood floors topped with a plush area rug and came equipped with a refrigerator. The bed was plush and comfortable and the shower/tub were excellent. They also provide complimentary on-site parking for one car (we had two with us due to our move) and are within a short walk to a parking garage with very reasonable overnight fees ($8 I believe). One of the biggest perks of staying at this hotel is the delicious tex-mex restaurant on the bottom floor, some of the most delicious food we had!

The room used a loud window mounted AC unit that kept turning on and off. It also caused the bathroom to be really hot since we kept that door closed. Breakfast was good, but it would be nice to include hot foods like an egg burrito or eggs. Lots of construction in the hotel and in the nearby roads. Someone in the hotel was used a pressure washer for 11pm to 1am. It was a bizarre choice.

Breakfast was quite fine! Our room was lovely! Enjoyed the NOLA images on the wall artwork. A huge plus was having an adjacent historic restaurant with a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices. The location is FANTASTIC for walking and enjoying the beautiful Garden District, or for hopping onto the streetcar to explore more of the city. Nice to have a secure parking lot -- not easy to come by in this popular area.

The one-way street leading to the parking lot is atrocious - full of GIANT potholes that you must dodge to get in the lot within a narrow area because of all the parked cars along the curb. We realize the deplorable street is the City of New Orleans' responsibility -- but we could have easily damaged our car trying to get in/out, even traveling at 2 mph. Hope that the hotel can work with the city to get something done.

Breakfast is continental (cold) but limited. Some bread, cereals, muffins, apples, English muffins to heat in microwave, etc. It has to be prepared by the reception staff. That's why most of the things are served in 'packages' in order to serve it fast without wasting too much time. Very understandable but it would have been great to have some more 'basic' choices such as different kind of muffins, various kind of fruits and jams, ketchup, etc.

Location was fantastic as it was a nice neighborhood with lovely buildings and homes, churches, and some good restaurants. Great to see the streetcar running out front all day and so inexpensive and convenient to use.

The breakfast selections were pretty good but it would be nicer to have some fresh waffles to make and some fresh biscuits and eggs on offer. Coffee was very good as were the muffins and readily available juices and yogurts and a nice selection of bagels.

Charming hotel! Looks a bit gritty from the outside but the rooms are great. Good vibe and near the streetcar. For $1,25 it takes you to the French quarter. One of the few hotels that doesn’t hide the parking costs. Other hotels, seemingly cheaper, charge extra for parking which makes it more expensive. I like that this hotel did no such thing and just put it in the shown price! Great stuff

The hotel is not cheap and to be honest I was expecting more from the breakfast. It is just the standard US stuff with plastic cutlery and bagels that you can toast etc…nothing fancy

Garden district location was wonderful and our room 305 was lovely & bed was very comfy. We upgraded to a room with view of to streetcar & St Charles Ave. The reception area was lovely & inviting and smelled great! Kudos to you. The staff was wonderful. The outside patio was also a nice place to watch streetcars go by. The breakfast was very well presented and the coffee and raisin toast was great.

There was construction during our stay, that was a bit loud at times, but it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment of the property.

We were only 15 minutes away from anything we wanted to do. Hotel offered continental breakfast(Cereal, muffins, bagels, etc) Restaurant next door had good food and drinks. Rooms were very comfortable. Lobby had a bowl of fruit and water available for free all the time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had an issue with our toilet and reported before we left for our daily outing. Returned to it not being taken care of. We called again to the desk and within 10 minutes was fixed and we were comped complimentary drinks for next door at the restaurant. Thought this was nice since that usually doesn’t happen when issue in the room from other places have stayed.
