It was clean, staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was excellent

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Big thank you to Leonce for sightseeing tips! Hotel is on St Charles Ave. and offers garage parking onsite for a reasonable daily fee. The famous St Charles trolley stops right in front of the hotel. If you go during Mardi Gras the parade route passes the hotel. Room 19 was well insulated for noise. Beds were comfortable. TV, air conditioner, fridge, and coffee pot worked well.

Shower door trac needs a bit of lubricant. Toilet likes to run, so jiggle handle to make sure plunger is seated properly after flushing. I forgot to mention this to staff when I was there.

location was amazing, out of the touristy French Quater, but on a street car ( tram) route so travel about this city was very easy . Good bars and restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance . Large fridge in room and several convenience stores nearby by. Room was excellent very large with huge comfortable bed, good air conditioning, area for sitting, I think the largest room I have stayed in on this trip.

staff were a mixed bunch, I wondered if it was just me as this is such a high rating hotel on trip adviser , but when I read the low rating reviews mostly the negative points were about the staff. Sometimes you would walk into reception area and you felt ignored , staff using cellphone to watch shows, other times having loud conversations between themselves that they continued as you walked through. I note several posts on trip advisor regarding this and responses from management saying this would be addressed but it clearly has not been. I would like to point out that some staff were very friendly and helpful. Lack of facilities, although pictures show a lovely bar and outdoor seating area in reality this did not seem to be open or serving drinks.

Leonce at the front desk was great. Gave us a structured itinerary for our trip. The rooms and the hotel looks very nice, it seems recently remodeled. Would definitely recommend staying here. The french quarter was just a short tram ride away, which we even took at night without any safety concerns of any kind. The street the hotel is on is also quite safe with a few shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby.

The Wifi didn't work well in our room on the 3rd floor, but this should be something easy to fix.

everything was perfect

The staff here is absolutely amazing and accommodating from the time we checked in until check out. I thoroughly enjoyed my room. This hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of small shops and restaurants where you can walk and the trolley is right across the street if you want to visit places a little further out. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

The only issue I had was that the lighting could have been better in the room but that wasn’t a big issue. I can deal with that.

We love the spacious room and the comfortable warm homely environment. The staff were very welcoming telling us about the history of the building and made great recommendations for an amazing steak house and a cocktail bar with a fabulous view all less then a couple of minutes from the accommodation. They also explained the street car which was opposite the hotel which was incredibly helpful.

Very hard to fault this place, there wasn’t any breakfast tea and under the bed needed a hoover but all the cleaning staff were very lovely and always hard at work!

Front desk staff were amazing! First day they gave us a list of the best spots and good places to eat at so we were never questioning what to do as we had a good few days worth of activities to get through. Nice location, bourbon and decatur street were only a 10min drive away. Hotel was also nice and quiet. 10/10 would recommend. When I come back I'll definitely be booking in here again!

the staff were amazing, super professional and very kind. we loved how all the staff recognized us and remembered our schedule to help accommodate us better when we come in from work. housekeeping and front desk have been amazing as well as the manager, she was amazing. Leo was also extremely helpful and very kind. we will continue to stay at this resort just because of them.

absolutely nothing. everything was perfect

There was no breakfast, which wasn't a problem. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. If we asked for something they would have it for us straight away. We would stay at St Charles Coach House again because of the staff. Complimentary coffee was great, it would be better with fresh milk or cream. The beds were big and comfortable. Fridge was great for canned drinks and chocolate. It was great to be able to take the trolley from right outside the hotel. The A/C unit was old but worked well and kept our room cool during temperatures well over 100 degrees F. Hotel WI-FI worked perfectlly 2 minutes from local restaurants and shops such as Walgreens - which is great to stock up on everyday essentials without hassle and not paying "tourist prices"

TV had a really poor picture and no Internet connection to the tv.
