Interesting and unique hotel. Location - superb. Mine was a very cute "standard" room for 1 person, nice and clean, good value (but no exterior windows, and I knew this). Check-in person: lukewarm, all business. Check-out person: happy, nice, helpful. Maintenance guy I met in the hallway: helpful and nice. Cafe server: happy and nice (hotel offers free coffee and a pastry). Nice artwork in the hallway. Outside cafe-style seating in addition to interior seating . Restaurant on site but did not use. Validated parking (small discount) at nearby garage was appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.
Mattress was a little "mushy" Sheets a little scratchy, pillows stiff.

the location to the train station and Fenway couldn’t be beat! staff was great! the hotel itself is very nice. while we never ate at the restaurant/ sidewalk cafe, lots of people did so we can assume the food is very good.
no coffee maker in the room, we had to go down stairs to the restaurant each morning for complimentary coffee and pastry. you get actual keys for your door and for the entry door to the hotel itself after hours. One of our sets didn’t work. Parking was approx 4 blocks away and while it wasn’t a huge issue since our weather was good, in bad weather it would definitely not be ideal.

The location could not have been more convenient. It was easy to get to from the airport and centrally located to all of the things I had planned on doing, so it was easy to come back and rest when I needed too. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler. Complimentary Wi-Fi and morning pastry a nice bonus. My room was very quiet and, maybe most importantly, I felt very safe while staying there. As someone traveling alone who had never been to Boston before, that was a huge deal for me. I also appreciated that the manager called to let me know that there was a parade planned for the morning of my checkout, making sure I didn’t need to get a car out of the parking garage. I had taken the train so I was fine, but still thought the gesture was very courteous.
Truly no complaints!

1) We booked our accommodation through booking.com and the staff was kind to accept our request to upgrade us, newlyweds, to a queen-sized bedroom with an amazing view of the Boston Marathon finishing line and the Boston public library. Thank you for making our honeymoon trip more special and comfortable! 2) I also like the African-American-looking lady (Sorry, I forgot her name. I'm trying not to come off as a racist and can only think of describing her this way :( )who works the late night shifts at the reception desk. She was super friendly, funny, and accommodating to our travel needs. This hotel is lucky to have her as an employee. I wish her the best because she was such a lovely person and very good at her job. 3) Beautiful interiors in the queen-sized room. Clean++. Quiet. Very well-functioning AC helped with the heatwave. FYI, we stayed from Jun 30-Jul 2, 2023. 4) One of the perks as a guest of this hotel is that the next-door cafe (?Cafe Landwer) offers 20% off their entire menu to all guests of this hotel. Their food was delicious and even more so when there was a good-sized discount. Thank you Charlesmark Hotel. Keep being awesome!
Nothing particular about this hotel! I think Boston is just an expensive city to stay in general :(

The location and price is really perfact in Boston. Just near the metro station. Also close to many resturants and store, easy to find food or shopping. The room is good and clean. The staff of the bar at 1 floor is really great. He is very nice and friendly. Also serve some pastry and coffee in the moring.
The heater doesn't work at the last day we stay. The room's decorate is a little bit old. Housekeeping at around 9 is too early.

Breakfast was great - within limits. I think you could have saved yourselves money though if you had a check in system so people couldn’t go twice! (Yes they did this) Great location and good value for money
Breakfast! (Though it was great and better than expected; fresh pastries etc). However; serving staff frequently got a bit impatient as things ran out (see above) Also bagels - yumm- but refusal to give you anything to put on them when I could see butter and cream cheese in full view! Is this a separate business from the hotel itself?

Excellent location - right in the heart of Back Bay. Overall perfect for one person, great breakfast downstairs. Walking distance to everything you'd want to visit on foot. Low cost relative to other nearby hotels.
Overall I enjoyed my stay - and it was fine for one person. The room I had was very small - just enough space for a bed and bathroom, which is all that I needed. That said, if I were traveling with someone else I'd have found it a little too cosy - and would have regretted not paying a bit more for a larger room elsewhere.

Excellent boutique hotel. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Very central location - middle of Boston not that big and so can walk pretty to everything. Will definitely come back.
Two things annoyed me: that I didn't have a desk in my room at which to work - even just a table and chair, and the other was having to pay have a proper coffee at breakfast rather than something straight out of a flask. These are minor critiques though and did not detract from my stay.

It was such a fun and quirky hotel. They had a delicious little cafe right in front and access to a large selection of DVDs and VHS tapes that you could borrow and watch in your room! The view was perfect of the street to people watch and the room was comfortable and very clean. The receptionist Lisa, who checked us in, was BY FAR the best in the business. She was funny, answered all my questions and made me excited for my stay. I wish I could have kept her in my pocket!
Nothing. I enjoyed every minute and will be back!

This is in a perfect location to go wander the city. Plenty within walking distance and very close to a T stop. Parking garage is about a block or two away, very easy to get to. Rooms are compact but have comfy beds and I did not note much street noise in mine. Cafe downstairs is great!
Bathroom lighting was a little dim, and my TV remote didn't seem to work well. Wifi worked well once I connected, just a little weird to figure out.
