Boston Marriott Copley Place

1. extremely convenient location, have access to cafe/restaurant/shops without having to go outdoor at all, so nice feature for winter! 2. I also like that it's minutes away from all the attractions. 3. The staff at the check in is very friendly and helpful. 4. room is well cleaned 5. check out super convenient

1. main issue is with sound proof. I am lucky to have quiet neighbors, but i can hear all their conversations and coughs, they are not loud at all, its the rooms. 2. i booked the hotel partly because of its pool...but it's much smaller than on the photo, it is more of a kids splashing pool 3. would be nice if there is bathrobe in the room

Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants are still closed. Room was clean and recently renovated but nothing great. Convenient location and walking distance to almost everywhere.

The mattress seemed a bit dated

Very comfortable room, I liked the appliances and space of the room, the small table was nice to eat on, and the bathroom was nice. I liked everything. The room was worth the price. Even with a convention going on; staff at Reception were super accommodating and the bag checker went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Appreciate it more since I usually travel on my own.

The elevators were confusing to operate at first, was not warned buttons to floors were on outside. Television was also a bit confusing to operate as well, kept going to main menu display. Also the restaurant downstairs was noisy, expensive, and it took me an hour to get food.

Staff was wonderful, pool was great, and there was a lot to do nearby.

The elevators kept us up at night. It was a constant roar of the machinery. In the future, I’ll make sure our room is not near them. The only other complaint I have is that the pillows were ridiculously unsupportive. They resembled pillows visually. However, upon coming in contact with the human head they flattened completely. Stacking them did not help, as my head was then comically swallowed by pillows but not elevated.

The location was awesome! They included trolley tickets, freedom trail tickets, and $25/day in the hotel restaurant with the $25 resort fee -which more than paid for itself. Fenway Park, the Esplanade, Boston Public Gardens, Boston Common, Symphony Hall, shopping, restaurants, and the subway were all within walking distance. Trolley stop was right at the hotel, with duck boat tours across the street.

The elevators sometimes took forever, and the pool was small.

there was an employee at front desk named Lea or something who told us we weren’t checked in with them and that we may be at her courtyard across the street??? I asked her if she was sure, she said yes. as we stepped out, I spoke to the doorman and showed him my booking. He confirmed that it was definitely at the Copley location. we went back to the front desk and got another employee- Emily. Emily checked us in and confirmed we were booked there!!! my husband spoke to the other lady and told her she gave us wrong information. she just looked at him and didn’t even apologise!!! It’s a good thing the other staff - Emily and Patrick more than made up for this utterly stupid and indifference exhibited by their co-worker Leah.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location for walking to the top attractions. The room is spacious and the mattress is comfortable. I accidentally booked the wrong night and I didn’t realize until one day prior. The team at the hotel accommodated my mistake and rebooked me with no extra charge. I really appreciate their hospitality and flexibility.

I had booked two room, and both of them had everything needed and were well appointed. One of the rooms was a corner king room, and that was the best room I have ever stayed in. The view was amazing and I felt like we had the wing all to ourselves. Very nice room if you can get one, do it.

The only problem was the elevator between the two rooms we had booked. You had to take one elevator to one floor, and then get on another elevator to get tot he floor we had the other room on. That is only because we had a corner king room and I failed to ask for the same floor at booking.

I loved the view, the accommodation was spacious and the service was excellent. The location and its proximity to the convention we were attending were perfect. Also, the plethora of restaurants and shops kept our stomachs fed and our mental state happy through shopping therapy.

I wish the mini-fridge was a bit bigger. And a microwave would've been a plus. But I understand bigger appliances and microwaves are fire hazards.

We chose the Marriott, Copley Place because of its location and it did not disappoint. These rooms were for family members; we also had a third room for two weeks. All the staff were fantastic; and the lady who cleaned our room was brilliant. Loved the wee coffee machine in the bedroom.

Probably needs a bit of updating and a refurb - but the disappointing bits were the breakfasts (because the quality and choice of food make it poor value when there are so many alternatives close by); we only had breakfast in the hotel - for convenience - on two days. The carpets…. definitely time for a change, although I thought the same of a Marriott Hotel in London in August! And the cost of parking is eye-watering, even if that's normal in Boston.
