We stayed at apt 307 at 41 ST. Stephens St. Location near a variety of restaurants of many different ethnicities and food types were available. It seemed safe. Room had everything we wanted and needed (mostly - see below). Some might not like the complete independence as it is like an AirBNB apt, but if one was expecting to stay at the main Copley House with more interaction with staff and other amenities in the building, then they might have been disappointed. It matched our needs however. Kitchen, though small, was amazingly well appointed with good utensils, etc. Could be improved with a cutting board.

- It really was a noisy neighborhood with college students up in the streets and loud most of the night until 3 am. Didn't bother us but would some people. -3 flights of stairs - didn't know this until we got there. We are in our late 60s and early 70s and very fit, but this could have been a major problem for some with less fitness. - No kleenex in apt - likely a small oversight of staff - Carpet in the hall ways on the way up steps and in hall outside of room was very dirty with large particles of food or dirt that didn't get vacuumed until 3rd day of stay. But the apt was immaculate.

Back Bay is a very safe, quiet, upscale neighborhood close to the convention centers, universities, restaurants, and metro stops. Considering all this, it's amazing what you can get for the price! My room was a cozy basement unit that still got decent light from the outside. It had a comfy full-size bed, dining table, couch, reading chair, exposed brick walls, a large TV, small kitchenette, and a full bathroom. Good water pressure and temperature. All the basic amenities were included and worked well.

Not much to complain about but my room had no temperature controls despite having a wall-mounted AC unit. The room was quite toasty in November, and I had to crack open the windows to sleep at night. The included Keurig pods were great, but the coffee cups were too small even for the 8oz setting. The walls were also on the thin side: I could faintly hear the TV in another room. Finally, while most rooms are a block or two away from check-in, at least one unit is about a 10 min walk - not a downside, but just something to anticipate (see photo).

Helpful staff, nice room (beautiful bath, enough room, comfortable beds--even the pull-out couch was comfortable bc of the memory foam mattress). Plenty of towels and bedding, nice kitchenette. Everything worked well (tv, air). Apartment was quiet--we never heard the other tenants.

I knew we could be in a number of different apartments, but I was disappointed to be placed in one that was in the Symphony area, further away from the central part of Back Bay. Still a nice place, but not where we hoped to stay. In the room, a few minor things: sink was rather high for us, since we are both petite. No tissues (or, at least we couldn't find them). Took awhile to figure out the air conditioning controls--an instruction card would have been helpful. (A panel pulls down to reveal the controls.)

We were in Boston for a full week. It was nice to change things up by staying a couple of nights on the South End instead of the North End the whole week. Lots of nice restaurants, shops, grocery, and transit within steps of our room.

Would have liked it to be a little quieter at nighttime. But admittedly we are early to bed folks and the noise from the room above us didn't go way late into the night.

Lovely neighborhood, close to lots of beautiful places and Fenway. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with good shampoo/conditioner/soap included.

It was pretty small/tight space with the bed filling most of it, definitely was more like a hotel room in size than a studio. The kitchen came with a few pods for the keurig but no teabags or sweetener, things I usually find in other air b n b type set-ups which this was advertised as. Also the remote was filthy and some of the mugs and silverware were dirty too.

The lady at the front desk who looked after us was incredibly kind and accommodating! We got to the hotel early in the morning, and she kindly offered to keep an eye on our luggage and bicycles. She also recommended a fantastic spot for breakfast and suggested a delightful walking tour to make the most of our time while we waited for check-in. When our room became available at 11 AM, she promptly messaged us to let us know. During the check-in process, she even suggested switching to a larger room that could accommodate our bikes. This truly set the perfect tone for the start of our vacation! Also, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect!

Some of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in, the comfort is above all else at Copley House; rooms were hygienic, clean, included good amenities such as a coffee maker, fridge, fully-stocked bathroom, and a small dining area, which reflects the price quite well given its location in near-central Boston. Also, a ten minute (air-conditioned) walk through the Prudential takes you straight to the Logan Airport bus. Lighting was good, many lamps and main lighting fixtures, so you don't have to get out of the very comfy beds. The views are very pretty too, quaint area, and helpful staff.

The TV seemed to play for a few seconds, then cut out for a few and repeat repeat repeat; however I was hardly staying here for the TV and perhaps if it was crucial and I enquired for help, it could have been fixed.

It was charming, conveniently located, vintage but not falling apart, and had really everything I needed

As soon as I checked in, I started receiving calls asking if i’d checked in, if I knew someone else who was mistakenly reserved for the same property, etc, then the next morning someone showed up to the door during a meeting demanding to know who I was, clearly dealing with the same confusion, then the NEXT morning someone came to clean and wanted to come in 3 hours before checkout, then wanted to know if I was leaving that day, so: property is great! Some better communication amongst the staff would be cool!

I loved the homeyness of the apartment, the quaintness of the neighborhood and the proximity to areas of interest. I also loved that they welcomed my dogs. It was very quiet and had a nice little park across the street.

I did not like no elevator. I did not like navigating 4 flights of stairs to let them dogs out multiple times a day. The stairs had a little spiral to them which made it a bit unnerving with the dogs on the decent. But l would stay there again without hesitation.
