Clean friendly staff. Large rooms very quiet

No.pool. the website photos showed a pool with lane lines. When I asked where the pool was located the receptionist told me it was closed as of 3 years ago. Take the picture off the website hyatt. Under the pool description on hyatts website it's written No Hotub. Nothing about No pool. Very misleading. Would have liked a pool since we travel as a family. It was very hot out and a pool would have kept us at the hotel longer and probably spent more money at the hotel but instead we left the hotel and didn't come back until later. No.pool was a bummer.

There was an area outside the bathroom where I had space to set up the ironing board and get my clothes prepped for a meeting. They had a shuttle to take you to key places nearby with super friendly drivers.

The staff were super friendly but neglected to tell me I had to go through the restaurant to find my room, which in itself was a little weird. I also never got to try the breakfast because it wasn't clear where you needed to go to get a table and there were no staff to be found. The coffee place always had a line, so I didn't get to try that either, and while they provided instructions to order food ahead, the wait time was too long.

I liked the hotel BUT when i booked it showed the room was under 300 a night but upon my arrival to check in an pay i quickly learned it was 150 more then i expected . I was there to Attend a PINK concert at Fenway so trying to find something else wasn't really even an option . I have paid 450 a night to be literally right across the street from the venue at other cocerts . THAT is what i expect for 450 a night . The shuttle doesnt run to Fenway so there was almost another 100 in cab fees there an back. I didn't even try to disput anything but WHEN i book at said price that is WHAT i expect

The location of this hotel is beautiful. It's right along the Charles River. There's a nice view of Boston across the Charles. We walked back from Fenway Park after a concert, which only took about 25 minutes at a leisurely pace.

You have to pay to park in the parking garage. There is no other option. After paying $400 for 1 night it was frustrating to have to pay to park. This is probably common when staying in the city, but it is frustrating none the less.

It was clean and comfortable. The shower was very nice. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. We had a good view. It was easy walking around the area. There was a coffee shops in the hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. We flew in early and flew out after checkout. They had a secure location to store our luggage while we explored. The free shuttle was available to set areas in Cambridge.

It was comfortable, close to my destination (Fenway Park) and meticulously maintained.

The on-site restaurant, Paperbacks, had exceptional food and staff and the theme of the decor was great. I would have appreciated a greater variety of available menu items. The Ahi Tuna option was a lovely surprise as it didn’t seem to match the “burger and fries” style of most of the menu items but was well prepared and presented. The chips that accompanied it were made in house, but I would have preferred them sliced thinner, and a lot less salty. I really enjoyed the chowder but again, would have preferred less salt.

Breakfast was very good except the waiting time to get meal.

Checkout process- during checkout the tried to charge credit card but didn’t reblock the authorization amount so the payment couldn’t get through. Please reblock before charging again. Cafeteria downstairs- when I pay by credit card the hotel can’t issue a room charge or communicate better and don’t ask for credit card

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for access to Harvard and many other universities. On my second check-in I was given a bath/shower that you have to climb into and when I complained, I was immediately given a room with a direct access shower.

Facilities were a bit basic but I wasn't too put off as I was out most of the time!

We had a beautiful view and loved the location. The room was beautiful and comfortable for us and our 2 teenagers. We walked to dinner and also to Fenway (about 1/2 hour walk). The Hyatt team was super friendly and helpful. We also appreciated coffee and breakfast items to purchase in the stylish and delicious lobby bistro.

Parking garage was a tiny bit far but could park overnight which was good. If you don't drive then it doesn't apply. Best would be unload at the hotel entrance then park. Next time we'll do that.

I love that the rooms were well appointed and that every king room has a pull out bed because that is key

We were in town for Harvard graduation so it was one of our only options I didn’t like how far away it was actually from Harvard Square and the downtown Cambridge area if you will, and I also did not like the price because it was incredibly expensive but somethings you have no choice in - However I do have to highly commend the entire staff at that hotel because they went over and above and were incredibly accommodating to anything we asked for and requested
