Could not have been a cuter place. I loved that it felt like a real home. I loved that you could tell that the innkeeper really had put some effort into having a positive experience for the people staying. We stayed over the 4th of July and got to stand in front of the home for their community parade. We walked everywhere- popped over to the shop the Brown Jug for charcuterie bits- walked down to the Italian shop for some italian ice pops- coffee shop and bakery and went antiquing. The benefit of the location was EVERYTHING. It was clean. It was comfortable. It was charming. 10/10 Also, breakfast was good but a little confusing on how many courses we could expect, what the process was for self serving, etc. But thats such a teeny tiny little thing.

NOTHING. You know, we looked at "constructive" feedback of this place before booking and honestly after staying I think people have their heads up their butts on how the real world works. This place is not owned by a property management company that has a formula for hospitality they apply to their portfolio of properties and sleek marketing. This place is owned by hard working folks- managing a huge historic home, in a competitive place during a busy season. It is family run.

This was the standout place we stayed at on our New England road trip. The owner gave us a tour & explained the history of the property at check-in & was so welcoming, her three-course home made breakfast was exceptional! The guest house is in a great location for exploring the whole of Cape Cod, the seals at Chatham fish pier are a must see!!

Sandwich itself is quite a small town & doesn't have a huge amount of shops/restaurants - didn't bother us for a two night stay but if we were there longer we would choose somewhere a bit bigger

The personal service and the staff with a lovely, gracious and friendly manner. The exceptional standard of breakfast - it is unlike anything you could get anywhere else - every day a different selection of breakfast courses is served home cooked by Katherine! Location on Main St means you can visit all of Sandwich's historic places on foot and parking is provided on site.

Bedside reading lamps in our room were a little dim and far from the bed for reading.

The location was perfect - right near the center of town. Our host was very friendly and took the time to tell us about the history of the house, which we found quite interesting. And the breakfast was outstanding!

The shower in our room was hand-held and a bit tricky to manipulate as its base was high up on the wall of the shower, but we figured it out!

Eric was such a wonderful inn keeper. Breakfast each morning was delicious with homemade baked goods. The location is also conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Good location. Staff was nice, polite, friendly. Our favourite part was the very elegant table settings in the dining room. Made us feel special.

Host knew that my partner did not eat eggs. She was told on our check in date. No alternative was offered, even when we asked specifically for plain toast.

The location is very convenient and the room is the same as in the photo. The owner is very nice, very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. Lots of coffee/tea bags and snacks provided (though I didn't eat them). The surrounding greenery is nice and quiet.

the breakfast was consistently outstanding. We stayed for 4 days and the breakfasts were all different and prepared perfectly.

Our room was on the second floor up a very narrow stairway. Having some mobility problems, I should have specified the first floor.

Quaint historic house located in a quiet little town.

Unfortunately we were staying over a Monday and Tuesday when many of the local shops and restaurants were closed.
