I enjoyed the hotel. It was very different and i liked the architecture. Wish i had brought my swimsuit. The breakfast was fantastic. Would have like some fresh fruit but no complaints. The check in/out was easy.

The bathroom was in a different room and light location that i expected. This is a very minor complaint and didn't take anything away from the experience but the light to the section with the toilet in it had a massive loud fan attached to it. This was easy to resolve as i put the bathroom light on and it was bright enough to light up the toilet. In the middle of the night when people were asleep you could not turn on this light.

The place is unique. The room smells good and clean. The staff is accommodating and friendly and helpful. That’s why in less than a week, I decided to stay here again. It may not be perfect and still has some things to update but you know they’re doing their best to improve them. We had issues with the air conditioner and they hastily moved us to another room to make sure we are satisfied. To me, give this hotel a chance. It’s not perfect but you will feel at ease. That’s how we felt when staying there.

Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, they serve the same food. I hope that when I stay there again this August, it’s not scrambled eggs, sausage links and mini hash browns again 😞.

Hotel was clean and the room was nice. Comfortable and well equipped. It seems there are some updates being made. Overall, very nice for the price.

The young lady that checked us in was anything BUT friendly. Didn't say hello when she came to the front desk, when asked what our room # was she said it's on the key card, just not a good first impression. ..not anyone I would want greeting my customers. The women that was working the next morning was much better, very friendly.

Got a good night's sleep on a great mattress! Due to power outage I cannot rate other services. I think I got a rate reduction due to power outage. Fridge worked. I stopped at the grocery store prior to checking in so I had my own yogert and fruit for breakfast.

Could not get the coffee maker to work, however this seemed too trivial to report to the office in the morning. I think I got a cup of coffee in the main area near the reservation desk. Not sure.

Room was nice and comfortable. The woman who checked us out was personable and helpful. Breakfast was quite nice.

No one was at the desk when we tried to check in around 9:30 p.m. I hollered, no one answered. I tried going in and out the door no one answered. I saw a sign with its back to me and I turned it around to see what it said (If no one is at the desk they will be back soon.) The check in woman came and told me not to touch anything. I tried to explain what I was doing but I felt she was quite rude. If I had not been so tired, I would have canceled and found another hotel.

Hotel was easy to locate, with plenty of free parking. Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Business centre easy to use. Shops and food outlets nearby. Breakfast (included) was great, an excellent start to the day. Price was commensurate with the standard of the hotel.

Unfortunately, the pool was temporarily closed - it looked good and after a day on the road a relaxing swim would have been ideal.

The mattress was firm and extremely comfortable, with nice sheets and lots of pillows. The gym was well equipped, with 2 treadmills, 1 bicycle and 1 green-powered elliptical, as well as a weight bench and one of those wall-weight units (don't know what they're called). There is also a small pool and hot tub. The included hot breakfast was fine, with granola, 3 different cereals, a waffle maker, sausages, scrambled eggs , bacon and hash browns, as well as yogurt, fruit, bagels and Danish pastries, orange juice and coffee/tea.

They are going to be updating the room keys, which is a good thing, as we had 3 tries to activate ours and finally were switched to a different room. Our room had 2 queen beds, but only one bedside table in the middle between them. I like a table at each side of the bed, so I upended the trash bin to rest my glasses in it at a height that I could reach them if I should need to use them during the night. The water cooler in the gym looked like it hadn't been serviced or cleaned in several months. The fire door to the 2nd floor was latched open at all times, and a ground floor emergency exit door was also open all the time as the electronic lock seemed broken; both must break fire/safety regulations.

Breakfast is very good. The common areas of the property - the breakfast area, the waiting lounges, the bar etc. - are very good. The property is designed in a very interesting way.

Despite having requested for a wheelchair accessible room, they did not do it saying that all such rooms are full. Everything was perfect otherwise

It was close to my son's apartment who was graduating from U of Michigan. My daughter will be taking over his apartment for the next 2 years, so I'll be coming back quite a few times.

Couldn't get the correct elevator to our room with a cart. Made several trips to the room when arriving and to the car when departing.

Great location, easy access from I-94, great value, not at all noisy (although that might be a different story on football weekends!), comfy bed and pillows.

Not enough outlets to charge up electronics; vent in bathroom was loud; in-room lighting not very good; no one passing through breakfast buffet area regularly to wipe tables & chairs.
