Baymont by Wyndham Bay City

The room was clean, staff was friendly.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch ..... our room did not have a couch at all. The outside of the hotel did not look as nice as the rooms actually were. Breakfast was poor. The two choices of cereal were both cheerios. There was no protien (meat or eggs)of any kind, which meant I couldn't eat, as I am on a special diet. My daughter did have toast and a small chocolate muffin.

Price was the best I've found anywhere in 2 years. Under $40 for the night during the week and $45 on weekend. They give a small breakfast with it as well. The rooms are clean and it's quiet. Very economical and would stay here again if back this way.

Can't complain was overly surprised with everything considering the room price. The minor issues I saw were negligible when considering the price of the rooms.

Breakfast just okay. Otherwise a great bargain. Rooms big. Staff good. Great price.

Rooms could have ben a little cleaner: Long term dirt/grime buildup on furniture & .... I had to defrost the freezeer befroe I coud use it. Not filthy, just not as clean as I would have liked.

The remodeling was nice and fresh looking.

The breakfast had stale cereal, the butter being a stick of butter that was for all to use (someone left their crumbs in it. ☹️) We were told that all remodeling was done on the rooms but you could tell they still needed to update things like the toilets and the stains that are in them.

I like the location and the value for the room. This place has been here for years but I think the current owners are doing a good job improving the place.

had a few issues but they were handled. I don’t personally care for the way they lay out the pillows on the bed, they almost seem hand stuffed.

The location worked out great for us! We needed a place that was closer to Traverse City, without driving too far the night we arrived in Michigan. This one is right off the express way and very convenient. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was super spacious and very clean. Great value for the price. We would stay there again.

I don't like that you're supposed to find faults with things. I honestly can't think of a negative thing to say. I would suggest that you take this hotel for what it is. A room on the cheaper side of things and yet very comfy and clean.

The fact my deposit didn't come back and I have to call. I was charged double on my booking app and once I checked in. Other then that it's a great place. But due to the problems I keep having I won't go back again.

the rooms! the bed stood out most. I always check for bed bugs but the metal stand and bed protection covers truly impressed me.

the outside looks sketchy and a tad worn, however it just proves that like a book you shouldn’t judge the cover.

From the road, this motel didn't offer high expectations, but the room was clean, roomy and updated, bed was comfortable, mini fridge was on and cold. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One of the better motels we stayed on a 5 day journey. Would definitely choose again when in the Bay City area.

Seen lots of negative reviews but I dont have any to report. Property was clean and well kept up. My room was fine. Zero problems.
