Comfort Inn Bay City - Riverfront

The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was quiet and we had a nice stay as a treat for my daughters 13th birthday. The breakfast was great too, with a full buffet and waffles you could make yourself.

The pool was nice but as soon as we got down there and settled people started piling in and took it over playing volleyball and leaving no room for anyone else to swim. There must have been 25 people in the pool and I'd honestly never seen anything like it in all my years of traveling. I should have complained but it was late and we were about ready to call it a night anyway. Other than that, we had a good stay.

The TV could have been placed higher up on the wall, so it can be seen from bed. The door to the bathroom, is too long, so it rubbed on the tile and made noises & made it hard to get in and out of the small bathroom. Room 424. Being on the 4th floor, with the elevator at the other end of the building.

The breakfast was as expected. The attendant was diligent in keeping the food stocked. Except for occasional noise in the hallway it was quiet. The room and bathroom were clean. The property is kept up well.. much better than others we've been in. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was surrounded by one way streets. Otherwise nothing worth mentioning.

Our room was very clean. The work staff were ALL awesome and the breakfast was very good. The only issue was parking. There was just not enough available parking spots for hotel guests. The staff were very helpful and actually got permission to use another business's parking lot. I feel the staff went over and beyond to please the guests and I just loved them all.

Breakfast was not great. Two days in a row I was there early and there was no bread or bagels at all. There were some very suspicious hotel guests grilling in the parking lot with a boom box near their grill blasting away. This was the weekend of a concert going on near the bay but still. That was a bit weird and suspect.

the first morning we went to breakfast and there was no more coffee and breakfast items were heavily picked over. when I went to find a staff member there was no one to be found. the pool was not very warm and it was FREEZING in the room with the pool making it not very comfortable to go swimming. also there was no hot tub like the pictures advertised on the booking site.

Location was wonderful for viewing the spectacular fireworks show.

It needs some remodeling. The carpets definitely need replacement. The hotel was busy and the elevators very slow. But the rooms are nice and well cleaned.

The breakfast was great, lots of options. Location was excellent , husband had meetings at Double tree so he could walk over there, and we only had to walk 2 blocks to get dinner that night.

It was in a really convenient spot and much more realisticly priced than the other hotel in the area. We booked here so that we could go to Pride in Wenona Park without having to drive home drunk. The beds were really comfortable after being out in the sun all day.

The location is perfect. We were within 2 blocks of restaurants. Close to walk the Riverwalk. I requested to be facing the river and I was not disappointed. The staff were helpful and the pool area was beautiful
