The location was perfect for before and after surgery at the Brighton Surgical Center. The staff was kind and helpful. And we were welcomed with cookies. The surfaces in room and bathroom had all been cleaned thoroughly. The room was quiet and the beds and pillows were clean and comfy for a good night's sleep. Yet despite the quiet, there are plenty of options for food and shopping across the street. There were only two things that were disappointing, and they were not enough to justify removing a star. The first is in keeping with the recent difficulties in most hotels lately - the floor had not been vacuumed after the previous guest and there were obvious clues, like a sequin or two and those tiny plastic things that attach tags to new clothing. The other was the sink hardware that caused the faucet to shut itself off at the central moderate temperature position. Pro tip: it works OK if you turn it on slowly and adjust it slightly to the right or left. Especially after reading so many reviews about filthy rooms at so many hotels, I was happy that we chose this one and will stay there again whenever we're in the neighborhood.

Property smelled clean, looked clean and was welcoming. Bedding was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of towels and didn’t have to call for anything.

There was a problem with the water on Saturday morning and all water was shut off. This delayed being able to get ready for a function I had driven up to the area for. The wall unit air conditioner made some terrible noises in the middle of the night, sounding like someone was stuck in the mud outside our window. Turning the unit off handled the problem.

Their pool was shut down due to chemical imbalance. Not only were we able to go across the parking lot to another Hilton facility to use their hot tub and pool. We were also given a free night in the future, just very accommodating and understanding.

Hot water for showers fluctuated during the first morning and virtually non existent on the second morning. Must look into that, manager.

It is a great location. The staff was wonderful. The front door staff, the breakfast staff, and the cleaning people were wonderful. I would give all staff a five star!

Jacuzzi tub needs a bigger faucet. It took well over 20 minutes to fill. Fans should be offered in room.

Breakfast was okay. The options being limited due to covid is unfortunate, but all things considered was pretty good! The attendant was quick and very helpful. All in all it was a good experience with good safety protocols!

I don't like that the rooms had only a sheer curtain over half of the window. We had a ground floor room and could not shut our curtains as the full curtain only came halfway across the window. This is just plain a TERRIBLE design. Not only did we not have the ability to have privacy when changing clothes short of having to enter the bathroom, we had obnoxiously bright parking lot lights that made it difficult to sleep with how bright it stayed in our room. Not to mention the car that came and went 6 times between 10:45 pm and 2 am right in the spot blasting their bright headlights straight into our room. Rather disappointing, and something that would easily be solved by curtains that close all the way.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was updated and nice.
