Hilton Garden Inn Detroit/Novi

Check in was easy, and the hostess/concierge was super nice. I wish that I had gotten her name. The room was comfy and my kids settled in just fine. They had a wheelchair which made a visit from my mom possible. And everything in the area was conveintly located. I felt safe.

Late check in, we got off of the road at 10AM and had to wait til 3PM to get in. We wanted to rest and with kids, it's good to have a place to land quickly. The pillows SUCKED; super flat, well worn and old. No matter how many I stacked, it wasn't enough to sleep well. When I checked out I wasn't given a paper receipt. I was later emailed one, this wasn't explained at all.

I like the location and the cleanliness. The maids were really nice and friendly. Cost wasnt too bad.

The guy working front desk was not very friendly at all. The cost of the room should include breakfast also. Almost every hotel we stay at it is included in the price. I pad the extra when we booked it because it said breakfast is included. The guy at front desk said because we booked it through a third party that it was not included. I explained to him and he didn't want to listen and charged 34 dollars more to our room to eat breakfast

Staff was super friendly, hotel was very clean and in a great location central to shopping, restaurants, and the Suburban Collection Showplace convention center.

The pillows on the bed were not very comfortable because they go flat but puff up on the sides, which is not great for a side-sleeper like me.

Great room! Very clean facilities, the laundry room was perfect for the point in our trip we were in, we were able to take home clean laundry! Front desk has plenty of quarters for the laundry also. Water got hot quickly, location is close to Walmart etc in case you need to grab anything. Will stay here again.

Our breakfast server offered and delivered superior service. Likewise the front desk, house cleaning staff were outstanding. The building was clean, bed linens and towels met and exceeded expectations.

Cigarette butts discarded near the front door by your guest. Maybe a bigger receptacle would encourage proper disposal by your smoking customer.

Nice property. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and very helpful staff.

No in-room safe. Took me awhile to find any USB plugs in the room. The outside property should be maintained better, was dirty. The Exercise room was VERY basic!!

Hotel was clean and inviting. All my booking requests were met. We’ll appointed room. The complimentary coffee and evening cookies were a nice touch.

Would have expected at least a continental breakfast included for the price paid.

This was a very nice property. Upon arrival the staff was so nice and welcoming. They informed us of all the hotel had to offer as well as local venues to visit. The room was clean and a nice layout. The shower was large. It was walking distances to a handful of restaurants and shopping which was so nice. Everything worked as it should.

I did not like that you had to pay for things like water bottles in the room. I almost overlooked the tag on the water bottle that said it would be charged to the room if you weren’t a member. The keurig coffee machine would of been nice but I couldn’t tell if it was clean. There was white calcium like build up in it. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Location was perfect for our visit as we were right in the middle of the two places we were in Michigan to visit.

Pool was very cold for an indoor pool.

It was a lot of activities to do around the hotel, family oriented.

Although the room was clean the bathroom floor wasn’t the best looking. And the pool area was out of towels and a little untidy.
