Quality Inn & Suites Coldwater near I-69

This is a very clean, and nice quiet location to relax and enjoy all of the things to do in this beautiful part of Michigan. Nilsa, the manager was soooo nice upon arrival. She upgraded my room at no extra charge to a whirlpool suite, after she noticed I was stretching my back from being on the highway!!. That goes a long way for us. Thanks Nilsa.

Nothing. This was a bargain!!!

The breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable and for the most part met our needs. The room needs lighting over the table in the corner of the room. With no light one cannot read or do any writing.

Very difficult to find. We turned at the sign where the sign was located on the street but we could not see the motel as it is set off far beyond with no other signage. It took us longer to find the front door than it should have. More signs would really help.

The breakfast was fine. The hotel managed to a safe alternative with hot food.

I was concerned when a guest was in the hall and outside with a large dog without a leash or even a collar. The snarled and barked at myself and my 8 year old grandson. It was a good 20 feet away from its owner. While the hotel may not control this they should at a minimum have rules for staying with pets posted and inform guests who have pet friendly rooms that all pets must be leashed or in carriers when our of the room.

Spacious room with table and chairs and large mini-fridge. We didn’t use the pool or play area, but really liked the setup.

We went to breakfast a few minutes before it was closed but there was no pancake/waffle mix. It had been removed. Not much of anything.

I liked that kids could swim and play. Beds where super comfy. When we had problems they helped us solve them quickly. Our room was very clean, no bugs.

Got lied to about deposit. Website,sign at hotel,and when I even messaged them all told me $50. Got hotel and was told it was $100 cause we stayed 5 nights. No where said that at all! Then they charged me another $50 deposit for having a 4th person in a 4 person room! I got everything back after the trip but really tightened my spending budget. Maintenance man with white hair was also very rude.

Just 2 very minor things 1. We were in room 254, which had a living are with a couch. Needs a lamp for the end table. We were only given 1 bar of soap in sink area. Would have liked one in tub & toilet area too. Would definitely stay here again.

I was thankful that the breakfast was available. So many places have not returned to having it since covid protocols were put in place.

I didn't like that there wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a comfy chair to watch TV in.

Quiet, good location, spacious

Room 160 had older thermostat and was very difficult to get adjusted. It was either hot or cold. Around the drain in the tub was dirty.

Liked the room near the pool.

Only issue was the attached room I could hear the conversations next door under the door. Also jacuzzi tub was dirty

We were there for our son's birthday. This hotel is wonderful for kids! This is our second time going to this hotel and we will go again.

It was a little chilly in the pool/play area. But other than that, we had no complaints.
