It was very clean. Amenities in the room were great. Beds/pillows are very comfortable (I prefer harder madresses, so it worked for me very well). The room was spatious. Altough breakfast was not included, instant coffee (and the kettle) was provided (some tea would have been nice too). There's also fridge in the room. There's a cafe at the ground floor of the hotel that provides breakfast options. The view was great (over campus).

Windows did not open to get fresh air (apparently it's related to overall ventilation and AC of the building, but would be nice to get fresh air as some people cannot stand the AC).

We SO enjoyed our stay at the Graduate! We actually looked up other locations and can’t wait to visit others. The aesthetic was very pleasing, and fun to notice the details and small things that you can’t experience at a large corporate hotel chain. Beyond that, we brought our two dogs and they really made us feel welcome and our dogs felt comfortable there. Our room was right near the elevator which was the only main issue, so they did tend to bark here and there whenever they head footfalls or chatting as folks came to and from the elevator, so a room further down the hall might have benefited everyone. We were pleased by the location, pleasantly surprised that we came during East Lansing’s Pride event which was a blast, and so many cute parks, spots on campus, and other sights to see in walking distance. Our only real gripe was no free parking options. Other than that we really had a fabulous stay.

Great coffee bar in the middle of the lobby. rooftop bar has good stuff but not enough seating Friday and Saturday night but do let you take food and drink to your room. Close to the student union at MSU and lots of restaurants as well as Walgreens and Target. So much thought went into the details of the hotel and I appreciate them. It is a new and beautiful hotel! The bathroom is huge and the shower is too! The beautiful wallpaper throughout every part of the hotel must have been expensive vs just painting but makes it so pretty.

They only had a small coffe shop. It would have been nice to have a restaurant or breakfast area in the hotel. Also the coffee shop closed early. Otherwise, the old school atmosphere was cool and the hotel made it special since it was during graduation. Staff was. Friendly. Room was small but nice.

Breakfast options could have been better. Also, the price of the room skyrocketed since it was graduation.

Love the decor. The room was fun. We had a recipe on one of our pictures which my daughter thought that was something we need to try

No self parking. Parking for valet was congested. I wasn’t sure where to go. Though I heard that’s what it’s like everywhere you go in East Lansing. Our over head lights did not work in our room when you entered. And the ceiling light over the beds didn’t work.

Location next to MSU campus was perfect, worth extra cost. Decor was very cool in lobby and also rooms. Scent in lobby was nice. Rooftop bar had awesome view.

The first night our room would not warm up, heat set at 68 and fan ran all night long, noisy and blowing over the beds uncomfortably. Second night, it had gone up to 69 so turned down to 67 and it maintained there, much better. The breakfast place in lobby was expensive, out of many items, and those left did not taste great. Construction outside started early on Monday morning. Didn't like having to valet car, felt trapped and didn't appreciate the extra forced expense.

The pillows, mattress and Shower were all excellent. The lounge was nice. The location and artwork were fun to observe.

The pull-up felt like it was poorly designed. I felt it lacked space and was not made for very many people, cars, etc. That needs major improvement. Need to add better workspace amenities to middle floor lounge. It was too old school.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The room was quiet and very nice with a great view of MSU campus. Rooftop was off the hook. We thoroughly loved the food from both the coffee shop and the lounge. Breakfast burrito was great. And those pretzels ..... dang, so good. And the free bikes were so great for exploring the area. You need to stay here.

What a fantastic hotel! Centrally located for all things MSU, clean, super comfortable, FUN, friendly staff, the coffeeshop and rooftop bar are cool and laid back, we just LOVED it and will absolutely be back!

The only complaint was that our room was across from a housekeeping closet so there was repetitive door slamming from housekeeping for a bit in the mornings.

Comfortable room and bed. Rooftop bar was great. Staff of students were very friendly and helpful. The building, although fairly new had some nice character.

The parking/check-in situation. Understandable that there is construction around the building, in which case better and less costly parking accommodations would have been nice. No formal breakfast. A self-serve buffet type set up would be killer. The wallpaper in the hallways and bathroom were a little jarring to the senses. Overall nothing that would prevent us from staying there again, but a few improvements could make it really good.
