I didn’t like being asked what my handicap was and what services did my service animal provided and if I stayed in the facility again I would be charged up to a extra $200 for my service animal to be with me and it’s against the law to ask or for me to have to show proof ADA Disability act states that fact and for the United States ADA persons with service animals there not to be charged extra or told that they will be charged

Everything seemed very clean and tidy throughout the room, building and grounds. My non-smoking room did NOT smell of smoke but was fresh and clean. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold choices and a large, clean dining area.

The tub in my "handicapped" bathroom was regular house size. There was a transfer bench but once inside the tub it was uncomfortable and there was very little room to work. The shower curtain had to be draped over the bench so I had a small pond on the floor. To be fair, I'm 6'7" and 340 lbs. It would have been much nicer for a normal sized person. One night a vehicle's alarm sounded at 11 pm and did so 5-6 times until 3 am. The gentleman at the front desk investigated but said he could not find who the vehicle belonged to from the hotel's check-in info . . . something amiss there. He did offer to move me to a different room.

Up to date lobby. Nice, spacious and clean room. Coffee and hot water are available 24 hours. Good breakfast with eggs , sausages and the usual cereals, oatmeal.... It is replenished regularly. Good wifi but it's open.

The hallways and the elevator floors could use some attention. Hope that they will be replaced in the not too distant future. Some guests had problems with their keys. We did not. We had difficulties recovering an item that we left in our room.

Room was clean and nice, big tv, nice cold ac. I’m a regular traveler to Grand Rapids and I might stay again, this was a last minute for this week for me.

Only thing that I didn’t like here is that I’ve seen some weird people around here at night and morning, there was some families with kids staying here and then you see thugs smoking weed outside. It smelled really bad, please get rid of these kind of guests before you run away all the normal customers. Other than this, it’s okay.

I love the staff at this property, especially the lady that does the breakfast. She is very kind.

I was a bit upset because no one came in and cleaned my room during my stay. The first day, I put up a do not disturb sign because I came in late at night. The rest of the stay they should have come in and didn’t. I was busy while there, so I wasn’t able to catch them when they were on the floor. I shouldn’t have had to though.

I have a service dog that was well taken care of by a staff member the day I went to my brother's funeral/memorial celebration and party all day. They even took her out to potty for me so I didn't need to keep coming back from the celebration. That was awesome

The noise in the hallways at night was terrible. There should be some respect for quiet in the hallways when people are trying to get some sleep.

Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, could be better. The beds were also very clean and comfortable, sleeping on them was no issue.

The breakfast could be better, the sausage wasn't that good when I was there. There wasn't much to not like. There may also be small stains on the floor that look like blood.

The staff was amazing and helpful with all requests and accommodations, especially MacKenzie. We thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with them and the care they took of us.

The late night front desk clerk from Sat 9/24 to early Sun morning was extremely rude and unprofessional with us on two seperate occasions. Everyone else was wonderful so we chalked it up to him being tired.

Should have higher toilets in rooms. Old people have a hard time getting down that far AND back up. Should also have a couple more hand rails in bathtub. AND ANOTHER CHAIR & SMALL TABLE IN THE ROOM BESIDES THE DESK, especially when there is more than 1 guest.

Low toilet, not enough hand rails, NO MORE CLEANING OF ROOM UNLESS 24 hours notice. Have to ask for towels.

The room was quit spacious, the bed was comfortable with enough pillows. Although there were Covid-19 restrictions, breakfast was still available to collect and eat in your room. 24 hours coffee!, also decaf. I did enjoy that very much. Especially receptionist Philena was very friendly and very, very helpful. And she did make good coffee!

The snack machine charged (reserved) very much for my snacks. But only after 3 days corrected. But it gave me a fright! Something was fallen under the bed. When I tried to find it I saw that they didn't hoover under the bed! It was the last morning of our stay and I forgot to mention that at the reception. But a bit extra cleaning in unseen spots would be advisable.
