Great location, less than a mile from the Mackinac Island Ferry docks! We didn’t book until almost 8pm for the a same night stay. I called in advance since we wouldn’t be checking in until 2am. The staff was super sweet and had our keys/documents ready for pick up at the hotel next door even though we didn’t arrive until 2am. The room was large & clean, and the bed was comfortable. For the low price, we expected a lot less so we were overjoyed by the good service and accommodations.

My only complaint is that it was not easy to find the room, especially at night time. Rooms/cabins should have larger numbers on them or the map should be clearer that the individual rooms are located by the office area because based on the map we were given, it was not conjoined, it was adjacent.

Absolutely everything! The location was perfect to get on the ferry. It was clean! It was quaint, the other travelers staying there were even friendly, we had a fantastic time at the water park, pool, and hot tub and my kids are 16 and 17yo, perfect location to get to the bridge to get to upstate Michigan and into Wisconsin, low to no traffic, close to the “downtown area”, simple, homely, comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful with any questions.

If you’re traveling with a family of 3 or more then you’ll be short on outlets to charge devices; under 3 people and it’d be perfect. Like other reviews, I did think from the website it was an individual cabin and it wasn’t an individual cabin but I was NoT disappointed. We absolutely loved the cabin style apartment type room. All The wood was beautiful and smelled so good. We loved the stay there!

I loved this property so much! The log cabin was spacious and perfect for my trip to Mackinaw City. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious, and the staff were kind and helpful. The map of the city was also very helpful, and the location could not have been better. I was walking distance to everything, and got to watch the sunrise by the water every morning.

I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Cabin was ok. We were not in there much. Mostly to shower and sleep. Good privacy. Perfect location with everything close at walking distance. But I would return to a larger cabin. Staff was wonderful. Eduardo is great.

The carpet needs cleaning or to be removed. Bathroom blind was broken and missing rails. It was fixed by hanging toilet paper for privacy. One bedroom was very small with a Queen size bed...you couldn't open the door all the way. Hard to walk around.

the room was good sized and the bathroom had a whirlpool bathtub which was good to have after a day walking around Mackinaw island. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. the location was perfect, downtown , and the ferry were all well with in walking distance of the lodge. I will admit that I was a bit apprehensive after I read some of the reviews, However but this place was a great value for the money. when we come back this will be the place we use

I liked everything about this place. The cabin was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much! The staff were wonderful. Very polite and friendly. We will definitely be back! We were able to take our dog which was a bonus.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We are extremely satisfied with this location. We will be back!

Shower water pressure was amazing. Super comfy bed. Totally met our needs and we are frequent visitors to this property. Staff is always so friendly and fun.

There are two areas in the parking lot near the back that could use some attention with drainage when it rains. Definitely makes a pond. Manageable but would be good to address

The spa tub was incredible. Easy check-in and got our own physical key. Chalet was exactly as described. Nice and private. Pet-friendly!!

Cleaning could be better. Chalet facilities probably need a remodel/update. Midge flies were bad outside, but I think that's a brief seasonal thing and we were just unlucky.

Although the one floor cabin was small, my husband, Brother and Sister-in-law and myself were comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely stay again. The location was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and most of the attractions and things to do.

Wish there would have been at least a continental breakfast.

Cabins were very nice and clean. The larger cabins worked great for our large group.

The pull out sofa bed mattress was old and stained. There were also crumbs/crackers in the pull-out. I realize that the sofa bed is not used every time someone stays, so it is probably not checked regularly. However, we did request another mattress and the staff delivered it to the room in a timely manner.
