Location, walking distance to ferries to Mackinac Island. They also seem to have upgraded the room interiors and improved the included breakfast since I was there about three years ago.

We were lucky enough to be in room 449 which was far from the noise of other guests. Comfy bed and furniture. The beach view was so nice. We were able to walk to so many places. Staff was really responsive and so helpful when we asked for directions, etc. The whirlpool tub was a great treat.

The breakfast options were limited, especially healthier choices. The lighting in the bathroom needs to be upgraded-it was very dim, especially over the mirror. Please add some towel racks in the bathroom-there was literally no place to hang a towel except the 1 hook on the back of the door.

The employees in the breakfast area were not friendly. The garbage in the breakfast area was overflowing perhaps you can add additional garbage cans. The housekeeper was not very friendly either. Never acknowledged us or say Hi on her own ever when we said grudged.

Housekeeping and Cafeteria employees were not friendly at all. One of the house keeper was listening to gospel and should of been wearing the e plugs

Rented a King jacuzzi suite. Beautiful room, sliding doors out to patio which led right to the beach. Absolutely beautiful sunrise.

A little noisy. Not much sound insulation in walls and ceilings.

Heather at the front desk did an amazing job. She was super helpful and was very informative. The best part was the rooms. They were fresh and clean and the view from our room was breathtaking. We have found our go to place for vacation.

I wish the weather was better.

The room was large and spacious. I liked the furniture and the mattress was just the right firmness. They upgraded me to a balcony room, and the view was very good from there.

I wish we would have had more snow. I wish there was a shuttle service to the ski area.

The room was huge! And comfortable. Pool was super! Like bath water!

The breakfast was a joke! I picked this hotel for the free breakfast! And it was just an apple, water and a small granola bar!

I wish I had taken pictures as soon as my daughter and I opened the door and looked around but I had been driving from Fenton to Houghton, moved my son into his dorm, and started the track back down to Fenton. Just needed a clean safe place to shut down for the night before it got too dangerous from being too tired to travel. I was able to get a room with two queen beds for a reasonable price at the last minute. The beds were comfortable, my daughter and I slept well and I have peace of mind that everything turned out great.

The room was clean for the most part. I did notice the bathroom wasn't up to standards for as beautiful as the hotel is. The bathroom wasn't trashed but the jacuzzi was dirty. I would have really liked to take a soak in it. That part was disappointing, but we were only there for a night.

The breakfast was a paper bag with an apple, bottle of water and a granola bar. Ridiculously cheap and unsatisfactory! Covid is no longer an excuse to not provide a decent breakfast.

Everything was awesome, breakfast was pretty good and the staff were excellent and very friendly, unlike my experience last year when I visited Mackinac at one of your competitors hotels down the street from you , they were pretty jerky, in fact a lot of the seasonal staff and multiple businesses were very unfriendly and had a bad attitude . This trip was like mirror opposite from last years trip where we had an awesome time . Great job to the Hamilton staff 👍
