Overall our stay was great! The staff was friendly, room was clean, pool and spa were clean as well as warm. Location is nice as well since it’s close to town and has some paved trails to a few beaches near by. The breakfast/gathering area was a nice size with an outdoor patio and never felt too crowded. The breakfast options were decent and kid friendly.

I really don’t have anything to complain about. It was a great 3 night stay (we extended our stay). The only thing that was disappointing were the cookies! They were a hit among everyone in the hotel because the tray always ran out. Don’t get me wrong…we all got our fair share of cookies in our family but when we’d make a special trip to go grab a cookie they’d be gone. But that’s not really a complaint nor a problem.

The near location to both the downtown and the lake was great for exploring on foot.

The coffee at breakfast was just awful both mornings. Really, the hotel should look into providing a different source for their breakfast coffee. Although beyond the hotel’s preview, the additional $16.42 per night county tourism tax was a surprise when the payment was made.

Clean and super friendly staff

When booking with booking.com I added that I had a dog staying with me, they gave me time options and I chose one. It wasn’t until I checked out that there was an additional pet fee of $75 added. Not a huge deal, I just thought it would already be included. Buyer beware if you’re on a budget

The location is absolutely beautiful and well kept. It is so nice to park your car at the hotel and walk around downtown Marquette and the waterfront.

No complaints other than value for your money, but all hotels in this area are pricey in the summer time.

Breakfast was great but could have been better if they had another waffle maker. They had two but one was broken. Even if both were working they still could use another one. Always a wait line to use waffle makers Loved the location.

Paid for a lake side view but there was a huge crane right outside my window.

The staff was exceptional. They were all so friendly and helpful. I asked someone at the front desk about the best place to get Marquette souvenirs, and a girl in the back heard my question and came out to give me info. Also, breakfast was great. The best hotel breakfast I’ve had in years, even before Covid.

Very good breakfast with great coffee. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in lobby throughout the day. Great view of Lake Superior from breakfast area and access to outside deck. Friendly staff.

The room was spacious. We had a nice view of the waterfront and a small beach. There were USB outlets on the nightstand which made it convenient to charge our electronic devices. The bathroom was nice with plenty of towels. I liked the toiletries provided especially the soap, which had a lovely almond scent. We liked a beverage station located in the breakfast area which was available 24 hours so you could get water or make coffee or hot tea. Nice selection of teas. Breakfast area was nicely laid out and there was also an outdoor patio where you could enjoy your breakfast and lovely views of the lake weather permitting. The staff was friendly.

You couldn’t open the window to enjoy the fresh air. Air conditioning was a bit too loud. The room could use another nightstand. The bathroom towels must have been new since they left lint on your body. There was construction going on next to the hotel, which made it a bit inconvenient walking around to downtown.
