The H Hotel

We loved the atmosphere and decor of the hotel and the food options. It was also very clean and smelled nice. Which sounds weird, but smells are very important to me.

Our only complaint was that there was a birthday party (Bonnie's 75th), and it blocked the corridor that came and went to the restaurants. It was raining, and we had to walk outside through the courtyard to get there. The courtyard is absolutely perfect, but had it been raining harder, I would not have enjoyed that. It was a strange setup to have the food in the hallway when they had a whole party room.

We had extra excellent service! Friendly but very professional staff. Room was simple but elegant as was the whole hotel. I happened to mention that it was my sister's birthday that we were celebrating during our stay in a message and when we arrived the woman checking us in wished her happy birthday and offered us a lovely food/drink treat to be delivered to us at a time of our choosing! What an act of kindness and highly appreciated but us both. Convenient proximity to the restaurants was also a real plus.

The art in the hotel had much to be desired. It just didn't fit in well with the whole atmosphere and otherwise good taste of the hotel

Staff member "helping" with bags was way too pushy. Some people like to be asked if they need help and not just have someone forcing it even after they have said no thanks. Don't want someone walking into my room with me! Way too much. Also, we had another staff member knocking at our door repeatedly at 10:35 in the morning, asking us when we were checking out. Check out is at 11:00. Super annoying Front desk staff was nice and helpful though

The room was very clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the bathroom door not closing but reported it to the front desk and it was fixed when we returned from dinner. The restaurant on site is convenient and good. The location is great and free public parking very close by.

I felt very comfortable booking this hotel during Covid because their website listed all of the precautions that they were taking to be safe (masking in public areas, extra sanitizing, etc.). Imagine my surprise when I walked into the lobby and saw no fewer that 15-20 young people (maybe getting ready to leave for a wedding?) all unmasked. Apparently it must be a choice or suggestion to be masked but that is not how the website read to me. Wish that it was enforced for the safety of everyone.

The extra specialties like auto blinds was fun. Hotel patio area is very nice as well as, the near-by shops and eateries.

The small hotel facility for breakfast was disappointing. They could not accommodate our group of 10 for breakfast.

It was in a great location and the surrounding area was so quaint. Just what we were looking for. The hotel was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The young lady Kayla at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Planning on returning next year to spend more time exploring other activities.

Nothing to not like.

Tons of free parking and the hotel has a basement garage. Adult only swim from 11pm to 7am. Fitness room had everything. Turn down service with a chocolate, (now that was cool) Right down town Midland, you can walk to anything you need.

Loved our one bedroom suite with a window overlooking the bike trail. Very comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom with large tiled shower was great. Enjoyed the pool and spa area. Helpful front desk staff. Amazing breakfast at the Cafe Zinc was not included in the room rate but absolutely delicious food.

Perfect for the couple who wants a romantic weekend. 24 hour pool and spa was nice as we both work midnights and are used to staying up late. Bar had a nice atmosphere. Really impressed by the courtyard. Covered parking.

There was no bath in the room.
