Staff was nice and accommodating when the room we booked through booking.com didn’t actually exist.

Booking.com offered a room that didn’t exist. Booked a king bed with a pull out sofa as my partner and I were traveling with our kids we figured our daughter would want to sleep in bed with us and our son would be on the sofa pull out. When we got to the room it was just a king bed and a chair. Not the room we booked come to find out they do not offer that room as there is none at that site. We were charged for the king size bed but ended up with two double beds. The price was just $10 more for the room we booked than the room we got. Just think if you offer a room it should be available or it shouldn’t be offered at all. Seen as how the room didn’t exist in that location it shouldn’t have been on booking.com. So my issue isn’t with the location that was amazing it was with booking.com.

Breakfast was good. I did like it as well as to have tea at any moment. The cookies offered at the front desk are absolutely delicious!

I didn't like that the hotel charged the reservation to my credit card. I had already explained that I'd pay in cash in advance when making the reservation. This notice is also included at the moment of the reservation. They could have received the money at the entrance of my stay. They didn't accept my request. In the end, when I asked them to discharge the card so I'd pay all in cash, the desk employee didn't know how to do that. She had to call someone from the hotel to ask for help. I still don't know if the cancellation was successfully done or not. I tried to call the bank in Brazil, but they couldn't see the transaction, yet. So.. if you can talk to the hotel, please make sure they discharged the amount paid in the credit card.

The location was great and felt safe. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, the continental breakfast was good.

TV did not work in one of our rooms. That being said the staff responded quickly and tried to fix it but could not, so they moved us to another room with a bigger TV that worked great!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Hotel is very quiet.

The breakfast was inadequate. The juice machine was broken and there was no other non dairy drink option (except coffee and tea). We had individually wrapped hot food. The only tolerable one was the belgium waffle. There were no toppings for the oatmeal. The selection of yogurt was lacking. Compared to other hotels offering breakfast, this one was unacceptable. Our room was entered and cleaned, even though we had the privacy sign on the door. Upon checking in, the concierge put us in a room that was already occupied. This made for a very awkward situation between us and the people in room 206! Concierge immediately put us into another room.

They had major issue with card entry to some rooms. Ours was one. However, staff was very attentive and responded immediately when we reentered our room. It made this situation almost a non issue.

The girls were hoping for waffles

I came with my granddaughters for spring break, they had a great time swimming. Coffee bar and cookies were a nice surprise. Clean room , loved the body wash and hair product in the shower, Very convenient,

Nice clean, updated facility. Nice staff. Smells good inside, too. Good breakfast. Noon checkout.

Only thing I didn't like was too much temperature difference between A/C kicking on and off. I was either cold or hot while sleeping. Both my son and I woke up sweaty a few times.

The mattress was tired to say the least, probably one of the worst I’ve ever come across, I’d go as far as to say worn out, really not good as far as I’m concerned

They have taken away the do it yourself waffle makers. The substitute waffles were terrible! Double beds in a room designed for 4 people are not desirable. Double beds work for little kids but not for teenage boys. Get rid of double beds!!!

Close to Lake Michigan, great pool, best hot-oatmeal breakfast buffet I ever had including walnuts, pumpkin seeds and blueberry compote plus oat milk and helpful and attentive serving staff.
