Best Western Plus Blaine at the National Sports Center

The staff was very friendly. The whole place was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in at this price point. We'll definitely be back.

The pool hours are until 10:00 p.m. Afterward, it's supposed to be adults only from 10:00 p.m. to midnight. Well, on the only night we were going to swim we got to the pool at 10:00 p.m. and there was nothing but kids in there (with more coming in) being very loud and obnoxious. So my only complaint is that there seems to be no enforcement of the pool hours.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful, kind, and curtious. The rooms are big and comfortable. The shower curtain is a bit small for the shower but doable. The rate for the room is good on the weekdays buy on the very high side for the weekends, I thought. Over all it was a good stay for us. Thank you 😊

The conditioner was out and i was already showering! Shampoo was out as well after i used it once. The ones on the wall need to be checked before a weekend hits to ensure everyone has this. To me, this is super important to have due to being in the process and finding out you have none when its needed!!! I have long hair and conditioner is valuable. That was the only thing I ran into otherwise the stay was super! Thank you BEST WESTERN PLUS.

The room was spacious and bed comfy. The bathroom was nice, with the towels being big. Because it's been a cold and snowy spring, the room was quite warm (almost too warm). The pool was nice as well. Typical hotel breakfast but good.

The housekeepers need to check the shampoo and body soap dispensers. It wasnt until I had washed my hair that I discovered no body wash. Minnesota gets its share of big snow. Therefore, this hotel should be sure to hire a snow plow service that actually does a good job. (Note: the Culver's next door had a snow plower there at 8:30). The answer I received was "we're on the list." He finally showed up at around 10:30. He did do a good job in FRONT of the hotel, but he never touched around the sides or back! The huge ruts left by cars made it impossible to walk your dog. Two other things, they should install: a quicker elevator because I waited almost 3 minutes and a big ceiling fan to lower their heat on the 2nd floor because it had to be over 85 up there.

The room was the perfect size for our family of 7. They had a double king with sleeper sofa room. Best Western provided us with a pack and play thankfully after I forgot ours at home. I appreciated our room had a separate bedroom that we were able to close the door so our 1 year old could nap an sleep while our older children were able to stay up and talk and play. The pool area accommodated all ages from our 1 year old to the adults. the breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. we will stay again if we are in the area.

Easy to find location, looked clean & newly remodeled, spacious room, great value & pleasant staff.

Our black out curtains were missing. One of the plug-ins by the bed didn’t work so you either had light or a clock. We didn’t need the clock so that was fine. The whirlpool looked dirty. But maybe they all are & we just don’t realize it!!?? There was a bright light inside of it (which made it possible to see every speck of who-knows-what floating in the water!) The jets were loud and sprayed in a funky way, so we had them off until we couldn’t stand looking at the stuff in the jacuzzi. (There was also a hockey tournament going on…& we swam after a bunch of kids! Lol!)

The breakfast was a bit better than the standard that I have seen at other hotels. I read on the website that the pool was closed, so I left our suits at home, which was disappointing. The prices were very high compared to what I have paid for similar rooms. I had booked a second night and there was confusion at check in which took a while to get straightened out.

We were there for a weekend wedding. We didn't spend much time in the room. It was very expensive so I expected a bit more. The room was lacking in a feel of luxury and decor.

Nice clean hotel, staff are very friendly, rooms were nice and beds are comfy which for me is the 2nd most important thing.

Breakfast was ok. Thankfully, they had pancakes. The sausage seemed to be reheated and cold. Didn't try the fried they just didn't that good. Daughter like the gravy and biscuits. Hot tub jets are set too high. It wasn't very relaxing when you had the water hitting you in the face the whole time.

Kids really enjoyed the arcade, fitness room, and pool. Parking was very accommodating. Breakfast was good but there were no non dairy or gluten free choices.

We stayed for two nights and due to COVID the room was not serviced after the first day. This led to problems getting fresh towels and toilet paper. There were five of us. We were told to pick up towels and TP at the front desk. Not good for customer service. Our toilet plugged and a plunger was brought up promptly with no offer to use it, we had to unplug the toilet ourselves. Management addressed my complaints, apologized and said they would make improvements on their policies going forward. I am willing to stay at this property again in the future. Suggestion for breakfast - offer non-dairy and gluten free choices.

If you are attending activities at the National Sports Center the hotel location is ideal.

Being so close to the National Sports Center Breakfast should be better. It lacked on variety and healthy options. we had to go outside foe better breakfast. The housekeeping could be better.

Clean, good stuff, quite location. Great 2 swimming pools and 1 hot jet tub, had a great time with 4 children

Our room was out of shampoo and conditioner, but we managed with just soap. The soapa as expected was not that comfortable, but again, it was expected. And last issue, not enougth towels for 6 people ( just 3 big towels).
