The staff were helpful and kind. The room was immaculate. The beds were the most comfortable our family ever slept in. The grounds of the estate were beautifully maintained. The opportunity to tour the mansion as part of our stay was a bonus.

We felt some discomfort when we realized that our rooms were located in a renovated building that formerly housed enslaved people. There was no open acknowledgement of this fact, such as with a plaque or other public statement.

Near the event I attended. Historic. Unique. Quiet.

If another guest hadn’t offered to take my luggage up to my 2nd-floor room, I don’t know what I’d have done. Back issues & no elevator.

Bed linens were very nice & comfy. I liked the privacy. I wasn’t aware of any other things available on the property.

Staff gathered outside my room early morning.......They were not loud though. I could just hear them talking. Suggestions about the restaurant/bar would’ve been nice.

Room was comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful

There was no mention when I booked the room that breakfast would not be available. We were also disappointed to learn that we would not be allowed to tour the main house during our stay.
