Holiday Inn Express Natchez South West, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was appointed and appeared well care cared for. My room was very large, and very clean and orderly with all necessary components. When I arized the water was not working, so I called the desk and was told there was some being dorm involving water leakage and it would be repaired shortly. As promised within ten minutes I had working water, so no issue.

I booked thorgh booking.dot coms for Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday morning I got all which necessidated me to not stay on Saturday, so I went to desk about 9:00 a.m. Sat and explained. The on duty manager explained she woudl contidate my Saturday stay but I would need to call Booking.com to iinitiate getting a cedit back to my AMEX card for the Saturday night stay. I called Books.com, talked to an agent, who promosed to call me back, but this has not occured. I would like to hear from them soon telling me I had a credit coming to AMEX.... As far as I could itern, this was not an issue on the part of the hotel staff but an issue with the Booking team.

The property was very close to all of the attractions in Natchez. Very centrally located but yet still relatively close to the interstate access. Very clean and staff were very friendly. Great breakfast!

The bed was very hard. It seemed like a new mattress which may have been why it was very extra firm. A mattress topper would have made it more comfortable. Also the room I booked online showed a king suite with a couch and separate seating area. Upon arrival I was told that booking.com was incorrect and they had no such room with a couch seating area. Then they changed their story and said they had rented all of that type room. Despite that they gave me what they called a wider king room which was basically a little bit bigger regular king. It was a nice room and the AC worked superbly. When I spoke with the GM about the issue on check out he gave me the regular king price to satisfy me and said he didn’t want me to leave upset about it which was great.

I liked the spaciousness of the room with a king bed. Overall, the hotel and, most importantly, the room was clean. I really appreciate that our room didn’t smell like smoke.

Our remote to the satellite tv didn’t work. The staff tried three different remotes and none of them worked. We could only watch one channel. The bed was far too firm to be comfortable. It would be nice to have yogurt and fresh fruit choices for breakfast.

The staff was so helpful with our booking. It was a last minute booking and the staff was excellent at full filling our expectations. The breakfast the next morning was just a treat. Very clean.

Nothing. Everything was up to our expectations. Very clean. Staff was outstanding and very friendly for such a late checkin. Did have a lack on large towels but that was not a big deal. It was a very eventful weekend.

We normally stay in Comfort Inns when traveling. We were in Tx when I booked this room. This room was the best in our traveling for three days. This also included the breakfast. One more thing, we liked the nice bath products in the shower instead of the miniature.

The breakfast was tasty and fine to start my day. The evening snacks of cookies for great for my sweet tooth. The location was great for what I needed to do. The grounds were clean and well manicured.

I was not use to staying in a hotel where all pets were allowed. (service dogs/yes) Seeing a few guest with pets not picking up their poop. The stairwells did not have any air or ventilation in them.

The staff was so kind! The location was perfect. Excellent hotel! Will stay there again.

The bed was hard, but it's not like you can expect an entire hotel to have plush mattresses. Other than that, everything was perfect! And that wasn't even a horrible thing.

We were coming 6 hours from Texas for a funeral and I made sure I called and let them know,we did not check in until 2 in the morning I was told Our stay would roll over for the next day it did not we still had to check out at 11 then when I went to check out the young lady never even checked me in so it took 20 mins for a check out and we were late to my sisters funeral . Then the young lady I am going to upgrade you what upgrade I reserved 2 Queen beds and that is what I got maybe the employees should not tell customers one thing and do something else. So instead of paying for a full night I paid for a 9 hour stay not a good look I will not ever stay again and will not refer friends.

The breakfast bar had great selections, it was well stocked, and the attendant made conversation with me.

I was placed on the 4 th floor with two dogs. The pet friendly aspect said I’d be booked within the first 2 floors. The building had one elevator which was a challenge. Otherwise, great experience

Facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and professional. Location was good however the hotel with the best location cost twice as much.

Breakfast items kept running out, juice machine did not work.
