This is an older hotel not a brand new resort. It is at the bottom of a winding road, not the top. It does not have fancy views. It does not come with breakfast. It is just a 5 minute walk to a quiet fishing spot and comes with a well-equipped kitchenette. The price was also great, especially when compared to other hotels closer to Branson. The pool was old but the water was cool in the middle of 100 degree days in July. I think this is because it was deeper (8 or 9 feet) compared to the 3-5 foot pools at other hotels in the area. I would stay here again.

The owners were wonderful! They make you feel at home and are very accommodating. They made our stay a good one! My kids loved the movies in the office and the pool. The kids enjoyed being close to the lake and Silver Dollar City. We felt blessed to find a place with such accommodating owners.

This is just personal preferences and good to know things: The water on Indian point is chlorinated. It was pretty rough on the skin. The beds were a little rough but the size of the beds made up for it. It would be the perfect room for a guy’s weekend on the lake but a little constrictive for a trip into town due to Silver Dollar City traffic in the morning (breakfast isn’t available at the site).

Best most friendly accommodating place. We were very happy with our room! The owner was very nice and we enjoyed our conversations with him. Room was very clean & excellent A/C for the horrid heat of July. Nice pool, grills & covered patio area is available There is a small store right next door with some groceries and libations (booze). The owner also recommended some places to eat. The lake is a very short walk away and there is parking here for your boat. Indian Point’s marina is a block away. Does not get better than this!! Next time we book- we will be going for the kitchettes. When you go - give Hunter a pet for us! He’s the friendly greeter! Enjoy! We sure did!

Wifi was spotty at best within the room. If we stood by the door we could get it very well and if we stepped outside it was excellent. We didn't spend that much time in the room so it was not really an issue.

The owners were very friendly and the location to Table Rock Lake was great! The pool was nice and clean and refreshing to use on extremely hot days!

There was one restaurant within walking distance that seemed more of a bar - like atmosphere. We wished there were a couple of more restaurants within walking distance that was family - like.

My family had a very relaxing weekend here! The owners are great people who work hard to make this place nice. Felt very comfortable the entire time, the location is perfect (right across the street from the marina), the little mart across the street came in handy for extra food and special ice cream treats for the kids. The owner did not mind at all, and even encouraged, my daughters to decorate the parking lot with sidewalk chalk :) And Hunter, the golden retriever, was a huge hit! Thank you for the hospitality.

Tiny bathroom.

Clean, handy kitchen area with full size refrigerator and all the necessities. Beds were very comfortable. Owners are available anytime as they live on the property. A wonderful place to stay for a family as we had 2 bedrooms with separate baths making it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. Great value for the price and we will be staying there for future vacations.

We come to Branson 2 or 3 times a year and usually stay at the same places but this time we decided something different and glad we made that choice! This place is by FAR the best we have experienced! Mike and his Wife who are the onsite owners treat you like they're your own. My daughter was playing on the playground swing and fell off and got more scared than hurt..but they seen it happen and left her a surprise for when she went back so she would feel better about it and not be afraid..Couldn't have asked for a better time or a better place to stay! Lots to do around you, lake access, and great restaurants/bars with live music.. even golf carts to rent to rome around Indian point right across the street. 110% would recommend to anyone. Kitchenette room was awesome, plenty of room for my family of 4! 50 inch tv with all the channels you need including sports! Also DVDs In the office for your movie needs. Cant wait to go back! We will be going here every time from here on out!

Our room was renovated nicely with a BIG smart tv in the living room, and the location is great for the outdoors type family or anyone with plans to go to Silver Dollar City

When you first pull up it has an old motel vibe but the remodeled insides and awesome staff make up for it

Our stay at The Hunter's Friend Resort was, by far, our best Branson experience. Its location in Indian Point allowed us to decompress after taking in the sights and sounds of the Strip. Mike, the owner, was very friendly; he gave us some great advice about Branson's restaurants and its activities that really added to our visit. Hunter's Friend really reminded me of the fun vacations I had as a child: the pool is simple and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This is not a "bougie" destination-- Hunter's Friend has WiFi, basic cable TV, and DVD players in the rooms (The office has a great DVD collection), but it is a wonderful place where you can relax in the community patio, drink a beer, engage in great conversations with your fellow travelers, and listen to the Silver Dollar City fireworks on a breezy summer night. As an added bonus, Hunter, Mike's glorious Golden Retriever, might come by to say "Hello" to you and play with your kids. I've stayed in Branson's top resorts, condos, and hotels; they lacked Mike's much-needed hospitality-- I will be returning to Hunter's Friend regularly. The rates are phenomenal!!!!

The rooms were large enough for a 3 day stay. The room even had a regular sized coffee pot. The pool was cold but refreshing! And the BarBQ grills were used daily. lastly the covered deck was used two, three or four times a day!
