The breakfast choices were exceptional and delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff especially Carman, was extremely helpful and so polite.

The couch cushions were not comfortable. The bed was too close to a/c unit so it made it difficult to get into bed.

Very clean! The "grab-n-go" breakfast was better than I've had at any other hotel during COVID; hot Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, cereal, pastries, oatmeal, muffins - a very pleasant surprise. Pool was nice and enjoyed by several families. Grounds were in pristine condition. Staff were always present and with a ready smile. Housekeeping staff were professional and courteous. Premium bedding and comfy bed. Loved the design of the room and the sitting area. Pro tip: there are two Sonesta hotels close to each other. Google took me to the wrong one once. Make sure you're going to the one on 97th Terrace.

I had trouble with the air conditioner in 201 keeping a consistent temperature I think, due in part, to not being able to keep the fan going. Also a microwave would have been nice to reheat my pastries.

I only stayed one night so house keeping shouldn’t be coming into my room until I’m checked out.. yet at 8 am they managed to open the door without a knock or saying who they were.. that scared me.. it could’ve been anyone! I put the do not disturb sign up and AGAIN at 11 am THEY OPENED MY DOOR WITHOUT KNOCKING or saying who they were !! aaahhh what the heck! that made me feel unsafe…… also.. the lady at the front desk didn’t ID me when I arrived.

that they allowed dogs, even though we have a service dog it’s nice that they have dog bowls, and pet beds avail. Also they have large rooms which are nice with a couch, and fold out bed.

The front desk staff agents could use better customer service skills. I went to the front desk to request an extension for my stay. The gentleman simply told him to do it on booking.com because the rates would not be the same. He did not attempt to offer any discounts or assistances. I called the front desk to report that my refrigerator was not working properly. Days later the front desk called to say that someone would check on the refrigerator. My check out date was the following, so that was pointless and I had already put my items into an ice chest. There’s no microwave in any of the rooms. You have to use the microwave downstairs.

It was affordable for my budget and the room was big enough for me and my son.

There was not toilet tissue in my room, the door to my room had to be slammed to close it all the way and it wasn't very clean. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been swept and mopped. And the beds are not comfortable. They didn't have enough people working the weekend I stayed. Check-in was slowed because only one person was there to check In also during breakfast they ran out of food and one person was there to restock breakfast so we only had waffles and eggs, not much else to choose from.

We really like the setup of the rooms in this hotel. We like having the adjacent couch area for tv viewing.

The property has eliminated the free breakfast but the prices have increased. This makes this hotel not as good a value for the money. Have also noticed that the property is not as well cared for with the new ownership. For example the parking lot is filled with pot holes, elevator buttons work but seem to “stick” and the bathrooms are clean but appear to need a deep clean, bath towels are a lower grade (thinner). Overall we feel like the price has gone up but the quality has gone down. Still a really nice hotel but I will shop around more on my next visit and will probably not choose this hotel.

The morning front desk guy was very nice, check this out. Other staff was very helpful about knowing where a good barbecue place was. Everyone seemed very friendly

The lady when we went to check in had trouble finding our reservation, even though we had our confirmation number. She said that our reservation was made using my last name first then my first name last. Wasn't sure how that could happen, but she did find our reservation so everything was okay. Thought the bathroom was a little small.

There is No Closets, no hangers & the tv selections are outdated! We were gone all day and arrived back at the room around 8 pm. HBO family was the only option to watch for family! The TV looked analog/ not able to connect to Wi-Fi or plug in a USB- our room never got cleaned. Day 3 at 8 am they knocked on door at 8 am to ask when we were checking out- check out was 11 really?

Room was larger than most we stayed in during our trip and accommodated all 5 of us (2 on each bed and the other on a queen sized sofa sleeper. My wife enjoyed the in-room coffee and the breakfast was a decent sized "grab and go" with several different options.

The room was good, but the humidity outside the hotel was sticky (no fault of the hotel obviously).
