Holiday Inn Express Rolla, an IHG Hotel

Craig at the front desk was super helpful and we felt welcomed upon arrival. The room was clean and the staff were so polite. The pool was great and the jacuzzi was very relaxing! Breakfast was phenomenal - so many options and the breakfast crew was fast and efficient.

The carpet on the third floor smelled very strongly of vomit. Not as if it was fresh and somebody just wasn't cleaning it- but as if it was just a really old mess and the carpets might just need a solid deep cleaning. This was only the hallway- did not apply to the actual room.

Great place to stay. A little expensive, but worth it. Everything was very clean. The pool and hot tub looked very nice. Unfortunately they were always full of kiddos, which is fine. They looked like they were having a blast. The location is great for people passing through. It's right by the highway. It's also right next to a shopping center. There are a ton of nearby restaurants. Breakfast was provided. Unfortunately we missed it, but it smelled great. The bed was comfy for me, but not for my husband. The pillows were flat, but we just folded them and made it work. All in all, it was a great stay and we will likely stay again if we are ever in Rolla.

Room smelled like smoke. There was no hand or bar soap, but a soap dish was provided. We ended up using body wash to wash our hands.

The hotel was great. However, I booked the room through booking.com with a room description that included a spa soaking tub. I would have NEVER booked. Suite because I was traveling alone. I wouldn’t have paid extra. Got to the hotel and no spa tub. Anywhere on the property. Asked them to put me in a regular room and just credit back the difference, but told me I couldn’t because I booked they third party. FIX THE DESCRIPTIONS ON THESE ROOMS.

The breakfast was really good. Just had to add salt and pepper to season to my taste. The taste was good, quantity was good and the service was phenomenal. The attendant was awesome. He was Very friendly, helpful and overall a happy guy it appears. He deserves an award as well as a raise!

The location of the property isn't the best. With the service road of 44 and the road the hotel is on being so close together. It was difficult to figure out which one to take as there was no signage at all for the hotel after exiting 44. Trying to look up to see the sign way up in the air while your trying to navigate the series of round about is not easy in 5:00 rush hour traffic.

Swimming pool and hot tub were nice. Staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was good.

First floor was too cold for me, A/C set to low. Bed was a memory foam, and I did not like it. The pillows hurt my neck and kept me from getting to sleep. After 2 days I had only 6 hours of good sleep.

We loved that we had the option of a hot breakfast and it was one of the few around that did offer it. The eggs were a little soggy in the middle from the cheese but it was edible. The man who served us was great about making sure we got enough to be full. He was very nice. The hot tub had working jets and was hot so that was nice after a long drive. The kids got to play in the pool so it was really fun for everyone. Since we booked online we didn't have to do hardly anything at check in or check out.

Staff were all amazing! Helpful, polite, and welcoming. The whole hotel was immaculate. The beds and pillows were on point and the shower was incredibly with plenty of water pressure and nice hot water. We really enjoyed our stay.

The scale in the fitness room didn’t work and the hot tub was a little wild. Lots of water pressure meant it was like trying to take a bath with a rogue toddler. Both were still usable though. Not huge issues by any means. We were really happy with our stay.

The breakfast was very good. Our grandson loved the pancakes.

There was not enough coffee at 7:30 in the morning. My shower was the best of the entire trip, but my wife’s shower lacked water pressure because the people I upstairs were showering simultaneously.

The breakfast was wonderful, the room was quiet and clean. I particularly appreciated the staff allowing me to use their freezer to freeze my ice packs.
