Holiday Inn Express Woodbridge, an IHG Hotel

We were visiting family nearby so we decided to stay here. Having arrived from Manhattan where we stayed at a hotel that was very dirty, I wanted to make sure we were in a hotel that was very clean. I read other reviews about the cleanliness of this hotel and they did not disappoint. The hotel lobby was very clean, as was our bedroom and bathroom. The room had a piece of furniture especially for luggage so that guests would not rest their luggage on chairs and other tables not meant for them. The bathroom was large and the bath towels wonderful. The breakfast the following morning was very generous with a wide variety of items. For those who are hungry during the day, the hotel offered donuts and other items. Wonderful place and I highly recommend this hotel. Hope to be back soon.

location- right on the highway and close to Woodbridge township

safety locker had to be fixed. My room had to be changed as the locker door though in open position, cud not be unlocked since no one knew the previous customer code. The front office has no clue what the default settings were. Unfortunately, this issue remained the same in the new room as well. I had to wait for the maintenance staff until the next day to fix it.

Front staff and dining staff were great.

Because of the pandemic, rooms are not cleaned in a daily basis, even if you ask them to clean they won't unless it's been 5 days that you've been staying. It would be nice that if a customer requests a cleaning, they at least do it. Customers already put out the trash and soiled linen out for them as they requested. They should at least comply to customer's request for they won't request it unless really needed, especially during this time of the pandemic.

2nd time staying with my family at this hotel and we love it! Only bad thing about this time around was that the pool was under maintenance the exact week we were there 😅 Other than that the place is great, I've never had any problems.

TV didn't work and was told by manager (Mikaela) she would talk to booking.com and we would receive 25% off and someone from nooking.com would be contacting me. I have not been contacted yet.

That when I wanted to use the pool it was full of people there should really be time slots

The cleaning staff didn't understand a word of English. Hard to communicate with them. There was no hand soap in the bathroom

The hotel was clean and smelled good. Very nice and pleasant atmosphere to be in.

The hot tub in the pool area was ice cold, the temperature timer couldn't get it hot. The fire alarm going off from burned food in the hotel's kitchen.
