Quality Inn Edison-New Brunswick

Nice atmosphere and that the breakfast is included even it's a very American one. The price is much lower than a hotel in New York but one also have to add fares for trains (116 dollar a week with train from Penn station and about 10 dollar (Ûber) to 13 dollar (taxi) one way. The trains are frequent and it takes about 45 minutes to Penn station. A walk to the station would be 1 hour 18 minutes!! The hotel has ease access when you are using a car.

It's quite a distance from the train station - around 12-15 min drive with taxi/Über. Metuchen train station is slightly closer to the hotel in Edison Crossroads. There is a limited amount of restaurants to choose from within walking distance from the hotel, an Indian restaurant, McDonald's and an Applebite (very good). There is also a shoppingmall, Stop 'n shop (quite expensive and rather poorly organised because the same kind of food can be found everywhere in the shop, not sorted and organized at one place). For instance pop corn and crisps are found in most shelves.....

Clean rooms, nice soft mattress and the Breakfast was good but there is a charge. Refrigerator and Coffee Maker in Room great but, no Microwave. They have a indoor pool, but did not use. Will stay there again. Close to Convention Center 3min.

Room smelled of smoke very bad and the manager sent someone up to spray that night when we checked in. Every day it got a little better but you could smell the smoke every time you entered the room. The manager helped every day by spraying our room. Wished the food lounge and bar stayed open after 10pm Had to order before 9:30 to bring to room.

The night manager on duty was welcoming and efficient and he very promptly switched rooms for us as the air conditioning/ heating unit of the room first assigned to us was noisy. It was cheapest of the mid-tier chain places and it even included breakfast in its price.

We were on the later side of the breakfast window, 15 or 20 minutes before it ended and there was no waffle mix left and the eggs, sausage and bacon were only lukewarm at best. I thought they were in a warming tray but either that wasn’t true or the warming tray wasn’t working.

Good location close to main routes, NYC is only an hour train ride from Metuchen, there’s an Applebee’s and general store that’s a very short walk from the hotel. Everything else is a drive. Room was clean and the bed is super comfy, staff were friendly.

Not much to dislike, the room is a little tired in places, but more than acceptable.

My room was clean and had a good night sleep but they needed to have more soap in the bathroom

Well honestly, they can do a lot better with breakfast. It was horrible the sausage looked microwave and not properly cooked, the eggs were powdered egg and that was not good at all either and non of the food had no seasoning.

The lobby gives a great impression of cleanliness and eye for detail. The room was spotless and smelled clean! The front desk was super helpful in providing new keys so we could quickly settle into our room. Breakfast was unfortunately a brown bag of granola, muffin, and bottled spring water but it held us sated until we checked out. Be sure to request rooms away from the restaurant if you're a light sleeper and/or have an early morning. The amazing music from the restaurant partied until 10ish on the Saturday night we stayed.

I can't wait for there to no longer be Covid safety measures to have a great breakfast!

Our stay was great. Staff was very friendly & our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good too especially because it was free. Smoke free so didn’t have to smell cigarettes anywhere but outside. Definitely would stay again.

Just our card to open the door didn’t work but other than that it’s was very well managed.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! From the receptionists at the front desk to the housekeeping attendants. They treated us like family and were polite and accommodating every step of the way. We were missing a TV remote and they quickly brought one up to us and they even gave us fresh linen at our request! Definitely would stay here again!

There wasn't much to not like! The only issue we had was the water pressure in the shower was a bit lower than we would have liked.

Very calme place,, the guy at the reception he was very nice and helpful, respectful...

Breakfast time one lady who was hotel guest caughing all the way on the food, no one from staff was around. It's better to leave sign explain if someone is sick ... Because it's not sanitary.....

Super friendly staff, very clean (if somewhat rundown), super easy access from 3 major NJ highways - it was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds and awesome that they have both a microwave and a refrigerator. Really no significant complaints.

Honestly, I woke up sick - but I don't think that has anything to do with the hotel (a bug has been going around my family the past week), but it is really hard to objectively evaluate the hotel when I feel so terrible. The only thing that I can think of is that it could use with a bit of a renovation (just re-caulking the bathroom, etc, that type of thing).
