Radisson Freehold

Nice room friendly staff we had multiple rooms on different floors for my daughter's wedding. Everybody seem to enjoy their stay no complaints from my end.

Nothing really bad to say about the hotel with the exception of continental breakfast would have been nice. However they did have coffee and did offer some type of a breakfast buffet on Friday and Saturday and possibly Sunday morning I believe that's what they told me for additional cost.

I stayed here for one night because i was a guest at a wedding in the area. This is a safe and nice Hotel option for the area. The Staff are professional, friendly and helpful and the facility is clean. Each floor, including the first floor has a vending room for snacks drinks etc. There is also a small dining room for breakfast. There is parking on site. The rooms are secure with key card and safety latch and a good size. Room is fitted with blackout curtains, a tea and coffee station, safe, flatscreen TV, desk and chair. Linens were clean and soft as were the towels. Everything was clean. No real view from my room but others rooms would have had a tree or a view of the parking lot.

You really need a car in this area. It's a bit out of the way from transportation, but I still enjoyed the stay!

The front desk staff were amazing. The gentleman who checked me in Thursday evening was so friendly and welcoming. He even asked what floor I preferred and offered me a room close to the elevator since I was traveling with my 80 year Grandfather. He liked sitting in the lobby to watch people and the staff always offered him a cup of coffee. I will absolutely stay here again!

Just wish they had a full kitchen.

The Freehold Radisson is centrally located on Rte 537/W.Main St., right near beautiful Downtown Freehold, access to Rt. 9, the Hospital, Parking for the Raceway Grandstand, and the Maplewood Cemeteries. There is also access to many shopping centers including the Freehold Raceway Mall, Walmart & Sam’s Club & Mill Center, anchored by Stop & Shop, all less than a mile away. There are many food&drink options as well, from the restaurant and car within the hotel (which also boasts catering and 2 ballrooms, each of which hosted gorgeous weddings while we were there), to nearby fast food, fast casual, and sit down dining options. The area also boasts unique locally owned restaurants from the amazing “bagelnook” to downtown’s Ramen House, to the perennial favorite Dusal’s, which has been operating (perhaps under more than 1 owner), for over 40 years. The hotel room was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The front desk staff was kind and helpful professional. Because we were in town for a funeral, they were kind enough to extend out check out time by 90 minutes, which was ideal! Overall, I would stay at this place again and highly recommend it to anyone!

As with most hotels, the walls are quite thin. This was challenging in the early hours of the morning as the guests next door were entering their room after enjoying a wedding followed by time at the hotel’s bar. They were equally loud and unfiltered when leaving their room, with the help of friends, at approximately 7am.

Room was very comfy. It was just me, so it was enough. Very clean. I felt very comfortable, and the beds were easy to fall into. The staff was terrific, from checkin to checkout and in between. i left food in the fridge after checkout and came back two hours later and housekeeping got it for me, still in the fridge!!!!

bathroom a little small. felt cramped.

The rooms are clean and smell clean.

The mattress on the bed was horrible. I was there for two nights and could not get a good night sleep in those two nights. I never had this problem before, but for some reason the bed in the room was VERY uncomfortable.

The pool it was nice had a good time staff was very friendly n helpful we had to do late check out they had no problem.We stayed a couple days the week before too n it was nice also

The only thing is first week I booked for this property it let me book on line what I wanted n the rates were great for week day second week I tried booking on line n would of got a better deal it kept booting me off properly wasn’t busy as it was being of week should of gotten a cheaper rate

It was convenient to my meetings. The property was well maintained and staffed

The restaurant is a joke. any Wendy’s has a broader menu. I took a look at the breakfast buffet and fled. either have a restaurant or don’t. But what is there is horrible.

We only stayed 1 night. We went to the Longhorn across the street for dinner & it was excellent. The hotel was very clean & the room was wonderful. It had a rain shower which was a plus. I would recommend this hotel.

Room felt clean. In covid times, you wonder whether the rooms were clean. Looked clean to the eyes. I guess we will see.

Breakfast and coffee were non existent due to covid. Could have been more transparent about lack of service besides an encrypted email about the restaurant being closed AFTER I booked the room. Also, when guests come in, you may want to consider someplace to allow guests to put luggage or dresses/garments. When you walk up to the lobby, with everything in hand, and you're asked for a license and credit card...it's difficult. I understand that checks and signatures are necessary, but with covid, the snow, freezing temps outside, it just doesn't work.
