This was my first time staying in traditional Wildwood motel (levels, communal feel, kids running around). I wasn't used to the amount of people moving about, though I knew what to expect. The place was maintained well, staff was great, friendly & accommodating. Shout out to Ashley, Rob (who didn't wear shoes ONCE in the week I spent there), Damian, Carina and the others whose name I didn't get. Sheets / towels were replaced at my request (not daily, at least not in my room). Beach was a block away, restaurants within walking distance..overall the YC has alot of positives.

I'm a bit critical of alot of things in life and my replies here have no reflection on the staff or facility. Kids leaving their trash strewn about (as some kids do); the sometimes rudimentary conditions of the room (a ceiling light with a cord running on the ceiling, down a wall to an outlet); out dated tvs and seemingly haphazardly and random toiletries. Again...this is no reflection on the staff...they were great and I look forward to seeing them again.

The staff were great. The location is perfect. Pool was nice. Grounds were kept very nice. Mini golf, ping pong and corn hole a real treat! The price was right - if your expecting luxury and fancy trimmings don’t come here. But if you want a clean, fun, convenient, inexpensive place to stay this is it! Side note on staff-there was an incident in baby pool (people really should think of others when taking their babies into a pool;-( but the staff was out there immediately cleaning out the pool - so kudos to them!

Bathroom needs to be updated a bit more - but the updates they have done are very good! And bathroom is functional and clean. They really need to get more kitchen utensils and cookware for the apartment we rented. Front desk woman (sorry didn’t get her name!) said they are working on a lot of things this winter. So we will be coming back next year!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is really nice and friendly. They have a mini golf course, corn hole, ping pong tables, and pool. There are tables outside and a grill so people can hang out, watch the kids, and play. My son had such a blast, he never wanted to leave the hotel! It's also a really close walk to the boardwalk and beach. My room was in the first floor next to the pool and games so my 5 year old would literally just go outside, leave our door open, and play the games while I was inside. It was so convenient for me cause I didn't have to chase him around. I also had a really cool room which was spacious and clean. I definitely plan on coming back next year!

The Yankee Clipper is a motel that is very minimum, but has the right idea. Rooms where small and not very minimal as far as seating and relaxing. Being you're on vacation, you want to be out and enjoying outside instead of being inside. Beds where comfortable, room were very clean as well. Staff is excellent and welcome you with open arms. My only major gripe was the ice machine wasn't very hygiene conscious. The scooper is inside the ice which nobody knows how many hands have touched it along with the ice. I'm sure they will fix this, but don't let that deter you. You'll enjoy yourself if you stay here

The rooms were nice and clean and it's peaceful, the pool is a amazing. They are still remodeling but the place is good place to bring your family, you get to enjoy some delicious ice cream that they sale from 5pm to 11pm.

Bathroom need to be updated , rust here and there but everything else is good.

The room was very clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. You can see the beach from the balcony. It was the next block over. Lots of things to keep you occupied outside..pool, ping pong, over size connect 4, some mini golf stations, corn hole. The size of the room was grat. It had a mini fridge and microwave. I would stay here again. My stay was very relaxing.

Furniture and TV could use updating. TV in the bedroom would have been nice. However I just used the pull out love seat to lay down and watch TV.

It was very clean and nice. No bugs

Not really complaints, just letting people know a few things..... We were on the 3rd floor and no elevator, should've requested bottom floor for my 72 yr old mother. Beds hurt my back but I have back problems so they might not bother yours. Pool closed at 7p which is way to early. Only a sink in the bathroom so no counter space to sit anything.

The staff was great and very helpful!! The place feels like home, a wonderful place to bring your family. The beach is half a block away. The area is great you have a park and bike rental right down the street. So many things to do with your children. The broad walk is within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our trip.

That my vacation was over.

I loved that they had a separate pool for by two babies so they were able to enjoy the water without a bunch of kids trampling them.

It became overcrowded at times. Our door was hard to open and the light in the bedroom had a short but we took it all with grace and made the best of it for our kids.

I used to vacation at the Yankee Clipper years ago with my young children and it was and still is the perfect motel to stay at. It is a throw stone away from the beach and the boardwalk. The pool is very clean and has outdoor games there to keep the children occupied and family run.
