We stayed at the Crusader over Memorial Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised how close to the beach we were and that it was only a 15-minute walk to the Boardwalk. It has a nice clean outdoor pool that is well-maintained and provides clean towels and lounge chairs. Our room for a family of five was just right with two queen beds and a pullout couch/bed in the living room. Our room also had many of the towels folded into adorable flowers and a great view of the beach/shore. Parking is available right around the building as well as on the street, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. One night, there was a very heavy rain storm. Since our back door was facing the beach, some water crept in through the bottom of the door. We were able to stop the leak with towels and called housekeeping who provided a door guard that soaks up water in case it happened again. For the price we paid, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

We loved the office staff, they are always there to answer any questions we have, I thought I lost my knee brace, but when I called them back to check if I might have left it there, they checked, and the cleaning staff had found it in our room, and I asked them if they could hold it there for me because we would be coming back to stay early June 🤗can’t wait! The rooms were cleaned, the beds, and pillows were comfortable, the cleaning staff are always friendly, and helped us with anything we had asked, loved the sauna, and heated pool, and will definitely tell my family, and friends Crusader’s should be on there list to stay when visiting Wildwood Crest NJ❤️❤️👍👍

They could use comforters on the beds, they would be warmer, and cozy for there guest too👍

The property was close to everything! Walking distance to the boardwalk and right in front of the beach! The staff was absolutely amazing, so accommodating, and kind. They were so helpful, and just made our stay 10x more amazing. The room was super clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful. The crowd was nice. Overall the trip was a 10/10. We loved the Crusader! It was our first time staying there and definitely won’t be the last!

We loved our room, the staff were very nice, and friendly, the cleaning people answered all our questions we had during our stay too, and the pool was kept clean every day which is something every one looks forward to, and we love the close distance to the beach too, we look forward to another vacation in Wildwood Crest next year, we only wish they could extend our vacation to a week, or two at the Resort.

The blinds, we only wish they were drapes, we would feel more privacy in the room.

Room was clean, staff was great, the. 2 full beds were very uncomfortable both left with our backs out of wack and water pressure was terrible in room 116, and the restaurant attached was closed, lots around 2 do, still good value for money.

The staff were all exceptionally helpful, thoughtful ( the cleaning crew asked us if we needed anything and checked on us). The breakfast at the restaurant was great and convenient. The location was right on the beach, a block from bike rentals, near boardwalk but away from the crowds. The hotel kept an eye on the guest to make sure nothing rowdy or crazy was going on. Great for a family friendly stay!

I wish the tv had Netflix 😩it was raining and we could have used a little relaxing.

The little cafe on the lobby level had fantastic food. The pool, awnings, and room were all very clean! Location was excellent.

The faucet in our bathroom must have been loose; it sprayed a little bit of water. Nothing concerning enough to tell someone about it. Beds were also a bit too squishy for our taste, but that may just be a preference.

Everything ! Nice having the restaurant right there! I ate inside and utilized the outside window too! I appreciate the designated smoking areas and close proximity to benches and beach. I don’t drink much anymore, but it was nice that nobody seemed to mind that I enjoyed a can of beer while standing in the pool 😁 The staff was very friendly and helpful. Your maintenance man was nice and let me in my room when I locked myself out 😂

I didn’t like that the TV had MSNBC, CNN, Headline News, but NO FOX NEWS ! If Fox News cost more, then I understand. It just seems like Conservative point of views are being silenced somewhat. It annoyed me a little, but then again its my vacation and I don’t really want to spend much time watching the news of the world anyway, so its not a big deal but it didn’t go unnoticed. I get Hulu on my phone and watched some Fox News there briefly.

Hotel located right by the beach and about a 25 min walk (south) of the boardwalk. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and smelled of bleach when you walked in. Heated pool was clean and has a fenced off 2.5 ft deep area for small children. Parking garage under the building was a little snug for our SUV, we had to make sure not to fully open the car doors so we wouldn’t hit other vehicles. I do wish the rooms had a broom and dust pan as our bare feet constantly had sand on them after we came back from the beach, not something I wanted to constantly call housekeeping for. Overall pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The Jacuzzi was excellent. The toiletries were always replaced and the room attendant was thorough in cleaning and creative in folding the towels into interesting shapes. The pool, deck and furniture were cleaned and reorganized every night.

These are observations. We did not mention them to management as they did not detract from our stay. The on site parking spaces are tight. Parking under the pool deck left water drop "stains" on our vehicle (easily washed off) from the pool water leaking through the deck. We also occasionally got "hit" with the leaking water. The bathroom faucet leaked as well and one of the vertical slats in the front room was broken. Sadly no grills for barbecuing.
