Best Western El Rancho Palacio

2nd time to stay here. We picked it again for the location since we were just staying 1 night and just passing through on our way back home. It was less busy this time. We were assigned a room on the 1st floor. Great on site parking. Small room but clean and had the practical amenities you can expect from BW.  Well laid out, well lighted and well proportioned furnitures and appliances. Comfortable bed,pillows and linens. Thick window privacy curtains.  Kudos we noticed - this is the first hotel we have ever been that was thoughtful enough to put a plastic stopper against the AC/ heater unit so the curtains won't fly. You know how that can be annoying especially if the room's window is facing a pathwayor parking lot.  The bathroom had strong water pressure better than other expensive hotels we've stayed in.

From the parking lot, the smell sewer was kinda' strong.  Though the door was thick and secured, it didn't seem to be fitted and quite a bit of light seeping through it. Carpet was outdated.  There was a wet spot on the ceiling on the shower ( Rm# 174).

This has been one of the best place I stayed during my USA trip. Very clean, great WIFI, comfortable (ask for a room as far as possible from busy main road). Friendly staff, big swimming pool with plenty of space to lay down. Many restaurants close to the place. And....for me...the best was the breakfast ! really great with eggs, sausages, potatoes on top of usual standard stuff.

The location is central, the pool is sparkling clean, the employees are nice and very prompt to respond to our requests/inquiries. Breakfast is mucho gusto bueno👌🏼

Everything about this hotel is great. Only suggestion would be to clean the carpets in the rooms.

Quick & easy check  in & out. We got the 2nd floor room 290 . Quieter than the other rooms facing empty parking lot. Clean & spacious, good use of the space.  Furnitures were practical & functional. Several USB  Port available for charging electronics. Wifi was strong.  Good water pressure and perfect temp. Bed,pillows and linens were fresh,soft and clean. Warm free breakfast was a plus.. Great place to settle for the night after a long drive.

Walls were thin, we can hear door slamming in other rooms. A/C was loud. Parking was busy, alot of bikers. There must be some event

The breakfast was good and the area very nice and clean. I'm a picky eater but, they were able to accommodate me for breakfast. The front desk clerk was exceptional and gave us a recommendation for a restaurant near by.

The bed was a little hard for my taste but not completely uncomfortable. This is a preference though and not a fact for all. Otherwise all good.

I was pleasantly surprised. The motel was older and looked like it used to be something like an old Motel 6 or something. What ever it had been, the owners had obviously put effort into modernizing the rooms. The bed was great and I can honestly say that once I closed my door I didn't hear anything from outside or other rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff, they were very nice and suggested some places to eat ( which was excellent), and things to see. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the choice was carried. The location was close to everything but not within walking distance. But a very short drive.

There was nothing that we didn’t like. We highly recommend this place.

The rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. We really liked the outdoor pool. The staff was friendly.

There were a lot of flies in the room and we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. The breakfast options were satisfactory but the seating area was limited and crowded.

Breakfast choices were delicious. My room was very spacious for my family and I. Hotel staff were very welcoming and courteous.

Floor grounds could be cleaned and swept more often outside of our room. Looks like the location of our room is prone to create a pocket of debris blown in from windy weather.

The bed and pillows were so comfy. Loved that we were able to park our car close to our room on the bottom floor and we could use the sliding glass door to pack up and go.

We were hoping for a free breakfast but it wasn't included in the price so we just stopped by McDonald's on our way out of town
