Very nice B&B -- old building but very comfortable. I enjoyed the Birch Room. Breakfast was very tasty -- on my first day, we were served waffles and thick strips of bacon, along with a very tasty coffee cake. I had to skip most of the second breakfast due to having to leave the property before breakfast was served. But they were kind enough to make me a continental "cold breakfast bag" to go. The shower is comfortable with easy access into/out of. There is no clean up of the rooms, but more than enough towels to meet my 2 day stay. Air conditioner works just fine. Wi-fi is strong. There are a bunch of baseball artifacts and memorabilia including the VIP wall of message from various VIPs who have stayed previously. And best of all, it's only a 6 - 7 minute walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

This place is right in town very, close to everything. There's lots of choices for B&B but the staff and owner Ed makes the difference at The White House Inn. I walked at least 4 miles a day and it was very close to the famous river too. Services were exceptional. Breakfast was made fresh daily with lots of variety. My grandson is highly allergic, but they gladly opened the kitchen for me at any time. They were very concerned about allergies and offered adjustment when necessary. However, I had prepared all meals ahead. They offered the freezer, fridge and anything else to prepare my grandson's food as needed.

The staff was so accommodating and welcoming, offered many wonderful historical details about the property and provided a tour of the grounds when I arrived. Provided a very comprehensive selection of literature about local attractions, restaurants, etc. And my suite The Green Room, was beautifully appointed, luxurious and spotless! I would definitely recommend and return!

Excellent location , very near to the downtown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The accommodation is quaint and comfortable. We stayed in the Carriage House which had access to a back patio. The breakfast was delicious

The rooms could use some updating. Given the nature of the accommodation I thought the room rate was somewhat excessive.

This place is really nice and comfortable and the host was wonderful. We stayed there because there was an ice storm and I had a very early surgery scheduled at the nearby hospital. As soon we parked, the host was there to greet us at the door. He gave us a choice of two wonderful rooms and asked us about breakfast. I said we were leaving the Inn very early, so would not take breakfast. However he insisted that he would make breakfast that night and we could take it to go (only for my wife because I couldn't eat because of the surgery, but my wife said it was excellent and she ate every bite.) Highly recommend staying at this lovely Inn, and will return.

Room was clean, spacious, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was terrific. Location was perfect. Would stay there again on my next trip to Cooperstown.

Other than the parking lot being a little small, everything else was great.

The breakfasts were good except for our last day it was very late getting the food out the bacon was like raw compared to the other morning when it was nice a crispy I did let Sandy know about the bacon the egg portion was very small for two to share

The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame as well as to places to eat in town. The innkeepers were welcoming & helpful which, as a solo traveler, was much appreciated. Plus, they were able to provide a Gluten Free breakfast.

We were in the upswing of the last COVID pandemic, so I confined myself to eating in our rooms or in the dining area when no one else was around. Really appreciated having access to the refrigerator, utensils, etc. the location is terrific and the staff were very nice and helpful. Loved having the gas fire to visit after a cold walk outside.

We had a suite but not a lot of comfortable seating and the bed took up a great deal of the bedroom. Though we had three rooms, it felt cramped.

The property was in a great location, walking distance to Baseball Hall of Fame and Lake Otsego. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast each morning plentiful and delicious.

We don’t have one complaint!
