A very sweet breakfast basket was delivered with coffee, bagels, fruit and juice. Room was comfortable and location was right in the heart of Greenport. In walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other visitor sites. American Beech also offered a cocktail lounge, tiki bar, pizzeria and restaurant conveniently in the courtyard of the property.

Parking is only available on the side streets. We stayed over labor day weekend and were disappointed that most of the places in the courtyard were closed on Monday.

You feel pampered staying in this well-appointed resort-like hotel, where everything is so well thought out- from the breakfast in a picnic basket, to Nespresso machine and Italian soaps and shampoo. Probably because it is a largely women-fronted establishment! Don’t miss the Rose hour in the cocktail lounge or check out the bar and restaurant on the premise. Best of all, it is dog-friendly and the one-time pet fee of $65 is reasonable.

if you are looking to rest early, ask for a room away from the restaurant and bar or the music can be too loud. But service ends around 9.30pm so it wasn’t a problem for us.

The location in the center of town was amazing. Able to walk to local stores and resturants. The hotel staff was very welcoming upon arrival and checking out. The room was very nice and spacious. The complimentary breakfast basket was well stocked, very cute and very much appreciated.

The only issue was upon arrival to the room the AC was on and the room was very cold but that is a personal preference.

The location is perfect to walk around town for a weekend trip. Very chic and cozy suite. Friendly staff. The restaurant is phenomenal. Bar setting has a sexy vibe. It's a pricey stay but worth it!

The complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus but they could have offered more than just baked goods and fruit.

The location was directly in the heart of town. the room was clean, modern with great decor. The bed was also very comfortable with a great shower. Theres a picnic basket breakfast that was also good, quaint start to the morning. Also much attention to detail and comfort that went into maintaining the hotel lodging for guests.

Our room was above a bar/restaurant that played music till after midnight.

Loved the "picnic" basket brought to our room promptly at 9am every morning, with fresh bagels and more. The "rose'" hour every day gave us a pleasant time to talk, read, and relax before dinner. Also enjoyed the food and service at American Beech Restaurant so much we doubled down on the following evening. The location is perfect for walking the village shops and restaurants, and down to the pier. In the other direction a little over a mile, the incredible beach at 67 steps (pass provided by hotel) awaits.

Can't think of anything important. Finding our around the multiple entrances was confusing, but even that became "charming" - so many areas to find privacy when wanted.

I wish the restaurant/bar was open during the week. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday and it was closed , along with a lot of shops. Disappointed as it was in June

Beautiful place and decor. Great area with lots to do . Staff was lovely. Picknic basket breakfast was great.

The carpets in the hallway and room needed cleaning was soiled. The hallways carpets seemed there was a lot of traffic and needed cleaning

Check in was easy even though we arrived after the reception had closed but communication was sent via text with instructions. Breakfast arrived at the door each morning in a basket, what a great touch! The bagels were exceptional

Couldn't quite get the temperature regulated, the room was very warm
