The food in the restaurant was wonderful, and enjoyed the dining room , adirondack decor, and historic pictures. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the lake and a king size bed. Sweet !

The only downer was the teeny tiny shower. It was hard to maneuver in it ,but we managed. And maybe a dish for the soap that was on the sink would be nice, no place to put it upon usage. Would like to see maybe full breakfast offered in the dining room or at least a continental .

A wonderful bar in the building that supports the dinner restaurant on premises. The food choices were varied, good and in line with dinner expectations rather than bar food. The lodge also offers a spacious living area with a covered porch looking down to Long Lake.

Window screens in the bedroom could use some patching.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Beautiful view of long lake from back patio with plenty of Adirondack chairs to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning. Felt more like a home.

Could hear the cars drive by the road, but those were few and far between at night.

Beautiful place!!! I loved the decor & the owners were super friendly. I also loved the history of the place. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend!

The only thing I didn't live was that being an old place, it wasn't soundproof at all & you can hear everything going on around you.

The restaurant that is a part of the Lodge was excellent. Food was top notch by a true chef, not your run of the mill "fried and served in a basket".

If they had Kayaks/ canoes available to use or rent on the property instead of going into town for them.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the rooms were clean and orderly. It is an old Adirondak Lodge. Keeping that in mind it was very pleasant. The owner was Very accomodating. We would definitely return. The front porch as very comfortable and the view was great.

They could have had stronger coffee in the morning. Can't really complain because it was complimentary.

Love the old ADK factor, the great room, modern amenities. Good food. Excellent coffee at the restaurant. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Free coffee at desk in am.

Shower unit needs scrubbing. Cold side is hot and hot side is cold. Bathroom window could use better privacy from restaurant veiw.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, with easy check in and out. And, the candy store is a dream come true. Give yourself atleast an hour to check it out. We would highly recommend staying here atleast once in your life.

Beautiful old style lake lodge with small beach and excellent restaurant. There aren’t many of these left and I was happy to find it.

Our first room #14 was not good. It had a huge fan for the restaurant under the windows and the smell and noise went on till 11:00pm on Saturday. There is no AC in the mountains so we had to have the windows open ( also missing a screen). We were moved to another room the next night. That room was very nice.

I loved the rustic feel. If you are looking to unplug and unwind from the business of everyday life this is the place to go. If you want everything at your finger tips this might not be the place. Great outdoor space. Food was excellent at the lodge but only opened part of the time we were there. Lucky for us we went when it was not buggy.

At the time we went the room was fine without air conditioner but in hot months this could be a problem.
