Gorgeous home with history. Feels like a home away from home. Super clean and well kept. Great proximity to Lake Placid and downtown Saranac Lake and the lake. The owners are so warm and welcoming, truly made our stay super enjoyable. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

The noise carries easily from room to room, can easily hear your neighbour talking, moving around, etc. Our room didn’t have the bathroom attached to our room, but it was just around the corner and was private.

Our stay was A1. From Carly's greathing smile to Rob's last hand shake our stay at the Manor was a few levels above our expectations. You can really feel the good vibes in this amazing housse. Thanks again you two!

We traveled to Saranac Lake and were very happy that we chose Franklin Manor. Everything was excellent! Rob, the host was always available by a quick text if we needed anything and provided delicious breakfasts. The house was huge and provided ample space for to sit and relax, especially the sun room and porch. We're definitely planning a return trip.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Franklin Manor. Rob and Carly were exceptional hosts, spending time with my husband and me to fill us in on the best places to have dinner, to hike, and rent a kayak so we could spend a day on the water. And the breakfasts! We got spoiled with the great meals to start our day.

Everything! Such a comfortable and beautiful place to stay in. The hospitality is unmatched. Very clean, and there is nothing lacking when staying here. Our hosts were amazing! The food was delicious, and the attention to detail is unsurpassed. We were really spoiled and hated to leave.

The whole Manor was beautiful, wide open spaces, windows and plenty of areas to sit and relax. We loved the library and window seat the most. Our room was perfect for one night away. The bathroom was decorated so nicely! We really appreciated the fans that were available since we like some noise while we sleep. My husband and I agreed we'd love to stay here again in the summer!

Rob is an incredible host! He shares the history of the home as well as the area. Rob is great at connecting guests with each other. He is a wonderful host, and a terrific chef! We cannot say enough to convey what a wonderful time we had at Franklin Manor!

Rob and Carly were great hosts! Rob made an amazing Egg and Cheese Sausage biscuit and homemade pumpkin bread. It's located about 15-20 min from downtown Lake Placid.

The room was a little cold and drafty when we got there, but Rob swiftly brought us a bigger space heater to warm the room and turned up the heat via the radiator.

Rob was extremely helpful; the building is beautiful; our room was quiet and clean; breakfast was outstanding; and the location is within walking distance to the business district.
