Apple Inn and Suites Cooperstown Area

This place was off the beaten path, surrounded by farm fields and nature, I had very low expectations when I booked here because it would just be for a night passing through, however Paul the owner was so nice and accommodating we would def go back, he had many extra amenities including free laundry detergent in the laundry shed, he also had bottled water and snacks in the room for us. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean, had a huge bathroom. And no bugs(I’m kind of a freak about checking for them before we stay) check in and check out was simple. If anyone is going to the Unidilla motocross this is the place to stay!! There was an above ground pool, like one you’d have in your yard but we didn’t use it.

Absolutely great location , super clean, ice cold AC, really nice room amenities, big bathroom, very comfortable beds, beautiful back patio view. Paul the owner was just great with his level of service. super friendly and helpful (even texted me when the internet was out in the area). super convenient location if your son is playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park (only 4 miles away) , no traffic going to CDP , great breakfast spot 1 mile away at Jackie’s Place, and gas station with food, beer, and ice right in front open till 10p (which is the latest places are open around there). only 15 minute from Cooperstown HOF - all of the other parents who bought expensive Air BnB wished they stayed here.

I was a little nervous at first seeing the Inn set behind the gas station. BUT...The rooms were GREAT! Super clean and comfortable. The view in back, simply amazing. Perfect for your morning coffee. The pool is a bonus too!

A little further than I wanted to stay from Oneonta, still only about 15 miles or so. Just about the same distance to Coopers town. Definitely can not judge a book by it's cover. WILL DEFINITELY stay here again!

Only stayed one night, but quickly realized the facility would be ideal for a longer stay because it's so thoroughly equipped-- large refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, plates, glasses, etc. Most of all, Paul, the owner, was lightning quick responding to texts and requests. Friendly, accommodating service in an industry increasingly dominated by large, seemingly indifferent chains was very refreshing.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the room was charmingly decorated, bigger than we expected, and very clean. The dehumidifier in the room was an unexpected bonus and added greatly to our comfort. The convenience store and gas station on premises were especially welcome.

Everything was better than expected. No complaints. Well, just a little one - a channel guide for the TV would be helpful in the future; the remote was a bit sluggish, so it took a bit to scroll through the channels. :)

Clean (immaculate, actually) room and very well maintained grounds. Paul could not be any nicer- he genuinely seemed to care about how our stay was going. Any time he saw us coming or going he would ask how things were going & if there was anything we needed. Room was well stocked with towels and essentials. Appliances (fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker) were spotless, and even the small hairdryer they provide was pretty powerful, better than most hotel hairdryers! Separate door opening to the back with a small table and 2 chairs (per unit) to take in the lovely view of rolling hills/pastures and access to the pool, which was also clean and clearly well-maintained. Kids loved that part, especially 90° in August. Adjacent convenience store was also immaculate, well-stocked and carried many little “extras“ that travelers might need. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

Apple Inn exceeded our expectations! The room was amazingly clean, the kitchenette was a nice little bonus we weren't expecting, and the best part was Paul! While the check-in was a self-check-in, he introduced himself while we were in the parking lot and made sure we had everything we needed. We'd see him every once in a while while he went about taking care of the property, and always had a smile and wanted to know how things were. We did not feel like motel customers, we felt like guests at his home. The back area and the pool were really nice to hang out at at the end of the day - very relaxing with a beautiful view of the hills. Cooperstown is not far, and it was actually nice to be outside of it for the peace and quiet. We plan on visiting the area once a year, and we plan on staying at the Apple Inn!

WiFi was a little slow, but that's ok, we weren't there to play on our phones. Otherwise everything was great, including the TV.

This place is a hidden gem near Cooperstown! I can't say enough good things about it. Paul was amazing to work with. This place is super clean and comfortable. Very cute little roadside inn not far out of Cooperstown. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Was not what we expected but a quaint surprise! Simple, clean and Paul the owner truly cares about his customers! The views are outstanding!

No breakfast, but very nice 5-cup coffee maker with pre-measured coffee"Max Pax" provided, along with ceramic mugs & spoons, sugar, creamer. Also cereal bowls & tea bags. Microwave & fridge. Convenience store in front sells juice and pastry. Table outside back door overlooks farmland and mountains. Bathroom is large, with generous supply of towels. When there was problem with TV, mgr. came immediately to fix it. Room was quiet.
