The room was spacious (particularly for midtown Manhattan) and the bathroom was well-appointed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Out of all the other three hotels that I've stayed in recently in midtown (in the last 6 months) this was my favorite. It was a good value, a great location, and a more upscale hotel. I would book again.

The only issue is that the cord to draw the shades in my room broke, but the hotel staff responded promptly and someone came to fix it while I was out of the room for the day.

Very central location. Big bedroom and bathroom. Great aircon and good views. Quite room, no noise from other rooms or floors. Quick elevators and friendly staff. Very close to Penn Station so you can get about with ease and a short walk to the Empire State Building. Large safe, and room came with an iron and ironing board. Friendly staff. Modern bathroom, spacious shower, could of done with a bath.

Wardrobe space is a bit small for two adults staying a week. Toiletries weren't always replaced, we arrived to our room with moisturiser bottles which were provided by the hotel that were half used from previous occupants. Coffee machine was awful, spat water everywhere and plug lead was very short. Lack of plug sockets near the bed is an issue. Wires from the alarm clock and phone were on show next to the bed, and tied together in a big bunch. Maid randomly entered the room at a late our which was strange and didn't give a reason. TV had limited channels. Bedroom door was very heavy and stiff to open.

The property is excellently located, it’s close to everything. We done a few Amtrak trips and found the location of the hotel to the train station excellent. Staff were always very friendly. Our room, and the hotel in general were very clean.

Check-in could be a little better. The receptionist who checked us in was very nice and chatty, but she never provided an overview of the hotel facilities or how to use the lift, the lift system does not work like a standard hotel loft. This is really nit picking….overall it made little difference to our stay.

I was planning to stay at the hotel for two weeks and ended up extending it by a few days. The hotel is very centrally located in Midtown. The hotel restaurant was good. The hotel gym is actually located next door and is a proper, large gym - not your typical small hotel fitness centre with limited equipment.

I only have two minor complaints. My room was quite noisy, however that is to be expected in Midtown. Secondly, the water temperature in the shower was really inconsistent. If showering in the afternoon/ evening, it wasn't a problem, but in the morning, showers were typically luke warm/ cold.

Street exit concierge/baggage staff were lovely and a credit to your hotel, such great service. :) The guy who eventually checked us in (once our room was ready) was extremely pleasant too. Hotel location was fantastic, will definitely stay again when next in NYC.

Initial checkin person (before our room was ready) was not very helpful, a smile wouldn’t go astray or a how are you going today! She also stated our luggage would be in our room once it was ready which it was not. Also a bit disappointed with the complimentary drink that we didn’t get because they had run out! Either offer a complimentary drink and honor it or don’t offer one at all.

Would highly recommend this hotel, the location is perfect in my view, not too busy to cause frustration outside but extremely central. The design of the hotel and the rooms are excellent and both are very cosy. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever come across. Loved the room layout & view, staff on the entrance & reception very welcoming and Matthew the manager very helpful.

The fact that chip & pin is not accepted using Google/Apple pay is absolutely absurd to me. Some may also appreciate the addition of a bidet shower in the bathroom.

The view was amazing, especially sunset. It was quite picturesque. Room service was quick to respond when I asked for water, check-in and check-out were super efficient as well.

The coffee machine was dirty and had accumulated gunk. Seems it hadn't been used or cleaned in forever. The central heater was occasionally noisy in the middle of the night (but I was glad it was working effectively :-) since NYC was very cold). Also, the safe wasn't working. I did NOT ask the hotel to resolve any of these issues, so perhaps it would've been a better stay.

Great location, only about a 5 minute walk to the Empire State Building. When checking in, the staff gave me a room on a higher floor with better views. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. A great range of TV channels including HBO+, Netflix Staff were very good and helpful. The bar and restaurant facilities were very good in terms of food choice and quality.

The room was too dark, even with all the lights and lamps on. The central heating was quite loud even though I turned it to the lowest fan power. For the amount paid, there could have been some additional things such as toiletries e.g. cotton buds, small toothpaste/brush, etc.

This hotel is fabulous. On arrival we were met with very friendly and efficient staff. Our room on the 15th floor had a good view. The room was spacious and had coffee and (unusually for US) tea making facilities. The coffee was good quality and there was even Assam tea available. The TV worked very well. The bathroom was absolutely lovely with a huge walk in shower with plenty of hot water. The restaurant was similarly excellent with great staff, great food, and great atmosphere. The location was also fantastic- 5 minute walk from the subway and close to centre of town.

Nothing really. Excellent value.
