The Parc Hotel

I was a little leary about this hotel based on the reviews. They do have a very small area for parking however, they do say they have SOME parking. We were lucky to get a spot in their underground garage. The staff is super nice and accommodating! The thermostat in our room didn't work. They instantly upgraded our room with a view of Citifield. Since we were there to see a Mets game, it was perfect! The walk to Citifield was extremely easy. Turn the corner from the hotel and walk a few blocks and we were there! I would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast wasn't stellar but, it was what you would expect from basic continental. The rooftop bar wasn't what you would expect either. If we didn't have the kids with us. It would have been fine. All in all...not a deal breaker.

The hotel was very close to the metro, to Manhattan it was around 30-40 min. ride and to Brooklyn pretty similar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room would get regularly cleaned or just taken care of, if you asked and let the staff know. It was safe and quiet. Excellent stay, would come here again. Another plus, was a rooftop bar on top of the hotel but it is another business (not connected to the hotel). We recommend to try their drinks, they were one in a kind. :)

There weren't any vegetables or many varieties of fruits served for breakfast, but it didn't bother us. There was mostly bread, bagels, donuts, cereal, peanut butter, jam, bananas, apples, rice with some side dish, waffles... Mostly carbs, but still good. The wi-fi connection was terrible. It was connecting and disconnecting, very bad. It was frankly a little annoying. In our room, the curtains of the window seemed dirty? They had few "dirty" spots, maybe they need some wash! Otherwise all good.

Comfortable bed, clean, spacious room. Modern design, Good value. Courteous front desk attendant.

Lobby needs some ambiance. Not very welcoming. People loitering at the front door. Odd location of TV and too small. Needs a convenience outlet at the desk level, coffee machine has no place to be plugged in. Needs USB charger near nightstands. Breakfast room not very welcoming, odd layout and the furniture made it feel like a school cafeteria. Breakfast stations are separate and not convenient. Had to make multiple trips in order to get what I needed.

Great location next to the mall. Parking was tight but lots close by for $25.

The hotel was quite quiet and the area too.

When I made the reservation, the hotel page showed a room with a view of City Field. That did not happen. I was unaware that the area was mostly oriental people and therefore all the food in the area was about that culture. I'm not one to eat those foods, so I had to travel to Manhattan to eat. For the coffee maker they need to put coffee stirrers and the used cups were not washed or changed.

Close to subway stop and Main Street Queens (four blocks - five-minute walk). Staff was very friendly and helpful morning and night. Room was very clean and tidy. I dont eat breakfast, but it was available. Coffee was fantastic! Very comfortable bed. Room was quiet.

Water flow from shower head was poor. Handheld shower fixture did not work. Water got moderately hot for shower. Ice was not readily available and required a call to the front desk. I prefer being able to get my own ice. just personal preference.

The best thing is that Flushing Meadows Park ist only 5 min away (Subway 7). This Subway takes you also directtly to Manhattan, so you arrive the center of NYC within 30 min and Hudson Yards 40 min. Hotel is ok, clean. Nice little roof bar on the top with a beautiful view!

Breakfast is not continental taste.... we had to go to Starbucks, next to the hotel. ;-) So we avoided eating at the hotel. Some nice chinese restaurants around.

Amazing stay over christmas. right next to the shopping mall which has a target etc. 5 min walk to station which takes you straight to central in a 40 min journey. loads of restraunt/shops around. lovely rooms very clean.

can get quite cold in the night and breakfast wasn’t the best not much to eat, but other than that was a lovely stay. been back over a week and still haven’t got my £200 deposit refunded??

Location was great. Near the 7 train. Close to many retail and food shops. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Very nice roof top bar -try and visit during the stay

The cleaning staff did miss our room once or twice. However the reception staff did try and help by sending us new towels and cleaning out trash. Carpet in rooms need a deep clean.

The Breakfast was good.

Our rooms were not what we booked. We booked 3 rooms with 2 queen beds. When we got to the hotel they had our reservation as 3 rooms with 1 queen bed. They said this happens a lot when not booking directly through the hotel. They were able to give us alternate rooms, with king beds and one with 2 twin beds at a discount, but I was not happy with the change of the booking but don’t hold the hotel responsible.
