There was a mix up with my reservation as I thought I had requested a 1st floor room do to issues with going up and down stairs. No 1st floor rooms were available so I had to use an upstairs room in the main house. Marvin the owner told me he was in the process of renovating a first floor room in the other building and would try to have it ready the next day. Marvin and family members worked late into the night and through the morning to complete the work so I could move into that room. It is rare these days to find a place and propriators who are so willing to accomodate the guests and do everything to have their stay a pleasent one. I will absolutely stay there again

I booked a motel room online about an hour before I got there, but when I arrived, they didn't have it cleaned / ready SO they upgraded me to a nicer room in the inn (Rockefeller Room). The room seemed a bit dingy, but in a historic way, not a dirty way, if that makes sense. The bed was super big and comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful and big as well. I loved the huge windows, and was happy I was overlooking the parking lot so I could see my car in the morning. The wifi was fast. The breakfast spread was super great as well - great coffee selection :) I also loved that it was walking distance to a nice strip of restaurants in Roscoe, where I had dinner - the front desk guy gave me great recommendations. It also is right off the highway (highway exits and entrances in both directions). Overall, great stay.

I don't have any real complaints - the freestanding tub was a little difficult to get out of after my shower because I'm clumsy, so if you have balance problems, don't get the Rockefeller room. The only other minor thing is that because I was traveling alone as a young woman, it was a little spooky being the only one staying the night in a historic inn on a full moon, but obviously the only problem there is an overactive imagination.

I stayed in a two bedroom apartment. I thought it was great, very clean and quite spacious. It is in a small town with a great Italian restaurant. I loved having a walk in shower which I much prepare to a shower in a bath. They had plenty of little snacks and breakfast foods in kitchen along with a Kerig coffee maker. There is a small market conveniently located right next door at gas station. Although I did not not meet the proprietors, they were very gracious over the phone.

I should have looked more closely at the room description. FYI, The room did not have a hairdryer so I had to run out and get one. Since it is in a small town it was a bit of a drive to find one.

The location was very charming, I wish we could've stayed longer to check out the locals shops. It was a very comfortable and clean room, and the price for 2 people to stay a night was pretty reasonable. Would stay again.

The breakfast was a little light. There were no bowls to use and we ran out of cups after making coffee so we couldn't even use a cup as a bowl, so we just took a couple snack packs to go. At least the snack packs were tasty.

I stayed in the “motel” section. End unit. No appreciable noise from the nearby road. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. No wifi out there, though. But I managed. Could go into the main house for that. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting in the area. The famous Roscoe Diner right next door for yummy breakfast!

Walking distance to restaurant’s. Good location. Plenty of parking. Cute room. Easy walk in shower which I like.

Customers are noisy in the morning. Close to parking lot so you hear cars starting in the morning.

Nice updated room did not smell musty Walking distance to the diner to the gas station and at night Didn't hear any trucks from the highway

I needed another pillow but forgot to ask cause I fell asleep lol

Room was very good. Updated bathroom, refrigerator in room, many cable channels to choose from. Beds were soft and extremely comfortable. Hot coffee and snacks available 24 hours in main office. Motel walking distance to diner and restaurants.

Room was either too warm or too chilly.

convenient location. we had the suite- it was clean. the common room was really well stocked with coffee, snacks 😊

just a bit older but charming.

The staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. A great location and price, I slept well.

Wifi needs to be upgraded. My computer lost connection often.
