The staff was very friendly and attentive. The facility was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The history behind the Opera House was incredible and we loved all the old artwork hanging through the mezzanine and the rooms.

A slight safety issue we experienced was not having a privacy latch on the top of the door. The lock on the door unlocked with a turn of the handle from the inside and with a curious toddler we had to block the door with a stroller to keep him from opening the door and escaping down the hallway. We were very pleased with the coffee machine on the mezzanine but the complimentary breakfast was not what we thought it would be. As frequent travelers, we’ve had better complimentary breakfasts from cheaper hotels. Slight disappointment but easily overlooked and were pleased with and appreciative of the quality of the food provided.

The two men at the front desk that work the over night shift were awesome. I was nervous to leave my car parked on the street they called me as soon as a spot was available in the garage. They were really friendly and accommodating and very willing to help. I know one of them is named Jonathan, unfortunately I don’t remember the other man’s name but they were both awesome!

The neighborhood is horrible and sketchy as hell. The hotel should be in a better area too nice to be there.

Very appealing and rooms very clean. The staff was very nice. Any and every store for your needs was located within a one or two block radius. Neighborhood isn’t the greatest. Over all the Opera House was vey enjoyable. Looking forward to staying here again.

Staff member came up to adjust something on my t. v. for me and had no mask on. I put a mask on . This made me very upset, even though he assured me he was vaccinated. I felt staff should wear a mask at all times, regardless , upon entering a guest’s room. I couldn’t sleep as a result of worrying about being contaminated , too many people I know personally that are vaccinated have become very ill as a result of still catching Covid My only complaint. Mask up in guest rooms please!!!

This hotel has a great price/reward ratio. Huge rooms (compared to anything you get in Manhattan for that price), comfy beds, Breakfast included (which is rare in NY), very clean and very close to the Manhattan-bound subway. Manhattan is just 3 stops away. Overall I can RECOMMEND this hotel and may come back.

Well, you need to understand you arrive in one of the worse areas of all of New York. A lot of poverty, a few drunks, a lot of trash. Could be a culture shock. We never felt unsafe, though. Pretty interesting that you experience this 3 stops away from shiny Manhattan. Quite don´t understand why this area is not prospering.

The hotel is very good!

The location is so poor, the subway is 1 block of the hotel, can be VERY scary at night with scammers around you.

We loved the breakfast, fridge and microwave in room. We brought food from the grocery store across the street to make meals and then pleasantly surprised to find a fridge in our room. It was a very short walk to subways or to the bus and we never commuted more then 30 minutes other then to the airport. We love NYC and we would opt to stay here again rather then Manhattan or Chelsea.

It was quite loud as guests arrived later at night door slammed, voices echoed but that isn't the hotels fault it's just the guests not being considerate to other guests.

The hotel is very well presented and is clean. It is very modern. All of the staff were very attentive. Especially, Zue and Krystal. This was my first time in New York and I was travelling solo, so I felt comfortable to ask the staff about anything. They booked my taxis every day and they arrived promptly with no fuss.

There was a lot of poverty in the Bronx which was a culture shock for me as I know that I have a privileged life. Several beggars greeted me when I went out the door. However, at no time did I feel unsafe in the area. During the day I traveled on the subway and it was very convenient.

Hotel is clean and well equiped, bed is comfortable and bathroom is spacious. You get new facilities everyday, clean towels... There's also microwave and fridge. No great view but it's really quiet here and we had good sleep. Fitness is also good enough. AC work very we'll, staff is friendly and helpful.

Location isn't so nice, we didn't feel safe in the streets but metro station is 200m so it's good. But it's not the hotel's fault. We always came before darkness. There is big supermarket and Tacobell, Dunkin Donuts near so you can easily buy something. We didn't really enjoy breakfast - I read positive reviews about them but there was a mess, it was overcrowded and offer was not wide - lots od bagels and sweet pastry, yoghurts and boiled eggs. Nothing more, not so European style but at least something :) but people seemed to enjoy that so it's just my point.
